  1. The compression is 180psi I stripped it down tonight and checked intake boot and impulse line, I didn't even check the clutch It's like it's still revving ok but not enough speed on the chain And the fuel cap doesn't sit quite right Cheers Steve 👍👌
  2. Afternoon Do you think a 16" bar is a bit much for an ms 240? Was using it today for the first time and it was almost stalling the chain in the cut. It sarts and revs out fine but it's just poor when cutting I know the compression is good, think it's work checking the fuel line?
  3. If its mig and your going vertical start at the bottom and go up the way, friend of mine is a cracking welder I've learned loads from him but it's hard to explain , it should sound like bacon crackling on a frying pan when it's going good

  12. Sorry but not trying to scare anyone but they keep me busy at work😞 Mud and crap gets up behind the wheel arch on the passenger rear and sits on the fuel filler neck and corrodes it away, pipes ain't cheap. Plus the wear and tear stuff, hand brake cables seizing up broken springs shocks

  17. See it all the time I work in an independent garage and get loads of folk getting ripped off my dealerships, it's because the mechanics are on a bonus they condemn brakes because the costumer thinks brakes are important better get them done, and they r easier to change for the mechanics ! They probably charge an hour and a half and u can do them in 20min it's easy money Did they service the car? They usually charge for an oil change and advise you that you need all other bits done at more cost-like air filter pollen filter ect I hate them tbh rip off bast@&Ds!!
  18. The one I was working on has no primer bulb It's a 2006 has the wrong bar nuts on it and chain hanging off it...I said to the guy and he said "aye ano I just put a screw driver in there and leaver it tight" Hahaha I said why not just turn that little screw there!!
