  1. Could be any number , or a combination of things . Metering arm not set correctly , an air leak coming from one or more of several potential places . I think you have to methodically go through everything . Spud will start you off @spudulike
  2. Sarrys V Irish was due to kick off at 15:00 . It had to be delayed by 2 mins due to the noise in the crowd as the ref was about to blow the whistle .
  3. I heard she did an IQ test recently but was relieved to find it negative .
  4. Its Peewit here in West Sussex . Although Lapwing is used . Not so much Green Plover .
  5. Deffow Lapwing/Peewit/Green Plover .
  6. I liked Les Patterson the Australian cultural attache . 😁
  7. Jonsered were not actually " copy's " of Husqvarna they were a manufacturing company in their own right . Later on when they joined/taken over by husqvarna some models sheared some parts . Eventually it all came under the umbrella of Electrolux .and then later it wasn't . I don't know who owns who now . You can buy , say a Huqvarna 562XP and there is red equivalent . The plastics look different but underneath I think they are the same now . The "Jonnyreds " seem harder to find over here . In the past I remember some cutters regarding the red saw as the Lexus and the orange saw as the Toyota if you get my meaning . I think this was bollox though !
  8. You should be able to file a round ground 3/8th or .404 full chiz into a square ground with the files .
  9. If you got a 5 litre pre mixed can with only 4.5 litres in it would that in effect mean that the oil to fuel ration had increased ( assuming its only the fuel evaporating and not the oil as well )
  10. Are you still hurting egger ? ( I don't mean in the wallet )
  11. I once put the con rods onto the crank the wrong way round but the pistons facing the right way on a Triumph 3ta and could not work out why it would not turn over all the way . DOH !
  12. Have you seen those bits of footage of a Tesla out of control ? The thing was going flat out with the driver seemingly unable to do anything about it . Crashed it in the end with no other option . If I could afford one I wouldn't have one !
  13. Ok ...Was it going anywhere in particular or just up ?
  14. No idea where it was going . So that was deliberate then ?
  15. Been seeing the barn owl of a morning just lately AJ . About 05:30 am .
  16. Elon Musk's " starship " rocket does a little dance and explodes .
  17. Cow horns all day long for me and on my Huqvarna you just loosen the big butterfly clamp and turn the handles in line with the tube if space is a problem .
  18. I have always filed them from the outside in as apposed to conventional from the inside out .
  19. Is there something more ridiculous 😁 ? ( I see when looking it up they can be made to make 900hp !
  20. It was the one with the long bonnet and low and wide . Rear wheel drive . . I will look up the specific model . Edit . I think its called AMG GT R Pro . It was very wide and low . I don't think it was standard but hey I dunnow .
  21. Well boys I have say it was freekin awesome . That AMG is the billie bollox no question . Around 650hp and shed loads of torque and the sound of that big V8 is music . I think it must have air assisted brakes coz you get that sound that a big lorry makes when you come off them . Went past a few " nervous " drivers in Lambos and Ferraris who were apparently just popping to the shops . The flappy paddle gears were easy peasy . Right paddle for up , left for down and absolutely no lag at all . About 20 years ago I was good for a one min 28sec lap on my fireblade . I suspect the AMG would be good a one min 12secs just to put it in perspective . Totally wicked car .
  22. Aparently Wee Jimmys arrest is imminent .
