Good idea . I presume you don't have the brake handle fitted if you are just milling ? If its still on there make sure the outlet does not soften the plastic .

You may be able to salvage the pot if you clean off the ally tranfere with some chemical ( brick cleaner works according to spud ) and then fit a new Metior piston . Metior are very good , close to OEM qulity .
