  4. Interesting dynamic occurring around my bird table . A few days ago I noticed a wood pigeon and a collared dove scrapping . They would fly at each other trying to gain poll position at the table . After about two days it seems the smaller collared dove has come out on top . They sit a few inches apart on the fence and the woody now waits until the dove has finished before having its turn . Never come across this before . Anyone else ?

  14. We have a " migrant hotel " in the town nearest to my village . A short walk from said hotel is a gym . I have just found out that the migrants get free gym membership . How can this be right ? I have worked all my life , paid my stamp etc etc . I have never been offered free gym membership !

  19. 1953 , the year I was borne . The 2T Villiers engine was every where in my youth . Francis Barnett , Cotton , James , Norman , Ambassador , Greeves and some others I can't think of . I think it was the backbone of small capacity motor cycles until Japan came along .

    You could buy it , use it on 2 small reductions add ยฃ35 to each job and then chuck it away ! ๐Ÿ™‚

  24. Year . I got a couple of those . I call it a tap spanner so as not to confuse it with the tool for holding a tap to cut an internal thread . Also called a " tap wrench " ๐Ÿ™‚
