  1. It did not look like the cat had its claws fully extended but one of those left hooks was worthy of Mike Tyson !
  2. That what I was referring to .
  3. I use the thickest one with the twin turned down blades on Husqvarna 45 and 50 cc strimmers . Never had a problem other than hitting a hidden tin of Dulux white gloss paint ...
  4. Not got one at all now but had one a few years back ...
  5. But , apart from all that ....😁

  9. What you say is true but they have been known to drink even when in cold weather . They do like a dip as well . I thought as its so hot at the moment it would not hurt to give him the opportunity should he choose to .

  14. The only thing that can happen ( but usually on older saws that have been run on pump fuel all their life ) is that the petrol slowly attacks the rubber components removing the coating that is on them to keep them supple but at the same time keeping them supple anyway because they are being attacked . Alkylate fuels ( like Aspen , Motomix and the Husqvarna one ) do not attack the rubber . So, if you use a saw on alkylate fuel from the get go there wont be a problem If you switch to alkylate fuel on a saw that's been run on pump fuel for a long time it can show up the damage that the petrol has done . The rubber components turn brittle and disintegrate . Some people think its the alkylate fuel causing the problem but its just showing it up . This is rare but can happen .
  15. Tell him you can see the doppler Effect as he flashes by at the speed of light ....
  16. The above is what used to happen with the MK 1 if you dropped it on its strop or leant too hard on it in the cut . Since its been redesigned and beefed up this does not happen . Strengthened av mount and barrel shaped spring seems to have cured it . This is an old thread and my comment that you quoted was from ages ago ( 2014) . its not a problem now .
  17. I thought this was going to be about spies .....
  18. I think it might struggle anyway given the tight area for the root plate .
  19. Whatever anyone is prepared to pay for it .
  20. On my Holeywell there is an aperture around the back with a plate held in place by an off center screw . You can have it completely open ( for smokeless zone ) or anything from that to fully covered . I have it fully covered coz I live in the sticks . I just control it with the air slide at the front . Very simple to use .
  21. Burley Debdale is 4KW . Slightely smaller than the Hollywell I have . You can have it with or without the cat .
