  1. I don't do many forums at all, but I was fairly disgusted by some of the pornographic comments, links, etc posted on a car forum! I'm no prude, but I cannot see the point of that in an open forum which can be viewed by all. Well done to the Moderators for keeping that lid on....and well done to the majority of members for abiding by the rules and keeping it sensible.

I don't do the Facebook thing or twitter etc for that reason too. I'm not interested that "so and so" is walking his dog at dinner time or what "this persons" toilet habits are, or how drunk "This twit" got on saturday night! Am I odd or just too sensible?

I absolutely concur with that Pete ....:001_smile:

  2. You could try and organise a ' Rec ' climb , which seem to be the rage at the moment . There must be a few weegies on here willing to show of their bling . Seriously though a good way of meeting fellow arbtalkers . :001_smile:

  3. Tdci must be an incredible motor then because one of the best things about my 90 td5 is the beautiful tickover of the engine , its just got that sound of quality. Would like to take Mendips advice and chip it though but too much still to do to it first ( blingy stuff  )

  4. Hello Simon , i burnt out a large dead beech stump a few weeks back there after it being discussed on a thread here. Although it would have worked well you need to get a REALLY hot fire going . The problem i had was i couldnt keep my eye on it 24/7 ( it takes a long long burn for a huge stump ) . I had the stump glowing extremely hot .... so extremely hot it wouldnt extinguish easy even after copious buckets of water . Too time consuming and dangerous imo . Try and get mechanical removal would be my shout . :001_smile:
