I can only speak from my experience. I wouldn't have written such a statement if it was untrue.
I loved it when the Scottish ladies were hurling their way through the winter Olympics.
I love seeing the Welsh RFU team do well as it means so much to their heritage.
When the Rep of Ireland do well in International footie tournaments it is awesome.
Whenever I have been in foreign countries and watched England play in whatever sport it seems the other Nationalities of the B Isles are there to shoot them down.
Sad but true IME.
I hope your not talking about Benidorm and football here Rich .
-
Well it certainly wasnt meant to come over as anti scottish, just anti murray
Fair enough , i'm not particularly a big fan of him or tennis myself , just seemed a bit unnecessary spitefull .

How's Bjorn Borg doing?
He's looking ace ...
I'll get my coat ...

Pathetic? its my opinion, i dont like andy murray, defiently not because hes scottish (half my familys surname is bruce) I simply do not like him if that makes me pathetic then so be it.
???? You clearly stated in your first post an anti Scottish sentiment . Youve changed your tune completely .

Honestly, I really enjoy seeing Scottish and Welsh or Irish teams doing well in whatever sports. What really gets on my tits though is that a lot of the population of the aforementioned countries love to see England fail...
With this in mind I am supporting Switzerland. Go on Federer!
Simply not true Rich , English football arrogance aside .

I think generally 28-32 is the prime years for major strength / endurance events .

Good luck WoodEd

He certainly made sure we all knew he was scottish and despised the english in the 2006 (i think) world cup when he said i hope england lose when we played romania. COME ON FEDERER!!
Pathetic statement that
The support us Scots give to ' English ' athletes goes beyond the call of duty . He was a blinkin kid back then for gods sake ..

Great pics , must do it one year

Almost a week gone and Cavendish has lost his edge I reckon.
Weight loss or too many GC riders in his team?
I dont think he has lost his edge ...
He is no longer with a team who's sole intent is to see him over the line ( HTC days ) . Team Sky's priority is for Brad Wiggins to win the GC , he has had no team mates at all at the sprints .
He has conditioned himself for the Olympics , no question.. where he will have a lead out train to see him victorious .
He ALWAYS starts poorly at the TDF but seems to come on strong later in the tour . He will win the final champs elysee stage which i believe is his only goal this year

If/when it splits in half, the owner of the tree is going to be liable for any damage costs and clearing up costs, so they should be paying to make the tree safe.
Removing the lower branches is going to shift the balance of weight further up, giving more leverage effect in winds, and making it even more likely to fail completely.
Agreed ..

I'm gonna get the old speedos looked out ...

Well done Christopher
there was never any doubt ( in my mind anyway )
Bring it on !!!

Having seen both Wiggins and Chris Frome in action during last year's LA Vuelta, my money is on Mr Frome.
I watched the Vuelta aswell and your right Chris Froome was sensational but Wiggins is Sky's No.1 rider so all efforts will be made to get him to the finish line .
Lets not forget the Manx Missile Cavendish , its sending shivers up my spine just imagining him coming down the Champs Elysee with the Sky shirt on .
Vive La Tour !!

Not really followed it since the Lemond / Indurain days but started cycling myself again recently after a 15 year absence; got to do something about the fat.
Get your exploits on the ' How Far ' thread
It has encouraged me to get fitter aswell
