  1. I've got the 550 and its a ripper . The pick up is scary fast combined with its ultra lightness i cant see it being beat in its class ( spud tune aside ) .

A word of caution though if you intend to cut biggish timber regularly then i wouldnt recommend it , the saw is just too physically small . :001_smile:

  2. I'm a rugby fan and the actions from the winning and loosing supporters reaffirmed my dislike for many football players and supporters.

Players, - over paid, over egoed, uneducated actors.

Many supporters, - rude, uneducated, socially inadequate yobs!

Or am I being somewhat sensitive about the finger waving (v) antics, the swearing, and taunting displayed on the box.

I did not see anything like that when Leicester Tigers beat Scaracens......and you will not see it when Tigers meet Quins in the final either....

Well said Pete .. Behavior of staff and players of recent ' old firm ' games totally unnacceptable imo and wouldn't be accepted in any other walk of life . The number of domestic violence incidents etc after these games is deplorable and a blight on our society .

I cant help but notice American sports , especially basketball where tough cities come together , supporters on the very edge of the court can enjoy watching their teams with not even a hint of bother .

Football , i dislike it with a passion now but i respect there are are good lads on here and thats their thing which is all good :001_smile:

  3. Liked the ritual type stuff before the fights and the garments they wear etc gives it a special honour amongst battle hardened men and as apb said alot of emotion . Its non stop action and certainly no time to ' rest for a couple of rounds '!! .... Chisora and Haye should take a leaf out their book and i apologise for even mentioning their name on this thread .

  4. Any linky? Been trying to find out more and keep coming up with nothing :(

Hi Pedroski , sorry i dont have a link but it was on the Russia Today channel all last week . They have a documentary on Russian culture , lifestyle etc which is repeated every few hours throughout the day .

The monument is in Volvograd and is of absolutely immense size . The top climbers in Russia have a maintenance programme on it .... amazing , not for the faint hearted .... hope you can find it :001_smile:

P.S if i find it on again I'll give you a heads up

  5. massive !

Oz is THE country of poisonous/dangerous/nasty creatures ! There's a reason Britain sent its convicts to one of the most inhospitable places on earth !

You'll encounter widows on your first day at work, no doubt !

Sorry, I'm just being real !

Go to a good hypnotherapist !

:lol: no room for sympathy at arbtalk ..

  6. The windblow course is not in the classroom for one . Its a very much hands on practical course to make students aware of extreme compression and tensions windblow trees come under .

Great if youve tackled such things at a young age and developed a feeling for this but many people have not had this opportunity and I'm sure they would come away alot more initiated for want of a better word for attending this course .
