    At college we set up a zipwire across the river between two trees and anchored it to the towbar of a pickup. We all had a go and one lad wanted to go again. Halfway across we let the handbrake off the pickup and he hit the water and skimmed like a skipping stone! He was going home on the bus too! Not funny at all!

    Any of you guys working at flamingo land today? Had a nice family day out and there were 3 or 4 guys in the emu enclosure fiddling with trees and chipping. God help them when they get to the lions!

    I did padi open water in oz about ten years ago now. The girl I was with wasn't very well and sspewed through her regulator on the sea floor. All these little fish turned up and started eating the bits floating about! Haven't done any since. Shame cos I really enjoyed it.

    Google earth shuts my computer down. The only thing I used it for over maps was the measuring facility. But now I've found how to donut on maps Ive uninstalled the Google earth.

    Ahhh....a mudrunner. I'm doing man vs mountain in September. Then a fortnight later born survivor in the lake district.

    Prunus spinosa? Someone correct me if necessary but I've experienced it spreading out from hedges into fields etc. Maybe not such a problem in a garden that has its grass cut regular.

    Id go the same. Evergreen with vicious thorns. Wouldn't go Blackthorn really because it spreads and could become a nuisance.

    5 mile ride. Still getting used to it! Got it from Halfords and the dude tried to sell me a "bike plan" that covers labour only on repairs. I said no thanks, I can do bits and my mate's a bike mechanic too. He told me if anyone apart from Halfords works on the bike then it voids the warranty. WHAT!! I'll be phoning them up to fix punctures under warranty then! Oil my chain under warranty! What do they consider "work"?
