  1. Guess what. I was on the repaired bike ready to do the same 18 mile round trip to do the hour circuits and at exactly the same place the tube valve popped! No spare. With 3 miles to go I wasn't going to be beaten again so I ran! Didn't need to do the warm up for the circuits!
  2. Was due to do the 18 mile round trip cycle to do an hour of circuits. 6 mile in I punctured thanks to the local chain flail and just as I dismounted the heavens opened and just as I'd replaced the tube and pulled the thorns out with my teeth my pump decided to explode into a million pieces into the undergrowth! Character building they say!
  3. 101kg. It's coming down! Running, riding and gym ing. And monitoring my eating and drinking.
  4. I was 105kg when I posted last. And am the same again! After peaking at 110. Got a new regime and a new incentive though so those numbers will go down!
  5. Waiting for Iron Maiden at the Ziggodome, Amsterdam!
  6. Mastiff with out engine or front axle. Bloody good weekend! Recovered a gazelle helicopter out of the woods and a ridgeback out of a bog amongst other jobs. It ain't training if it ain't raining and it was lashing down! Up to my eyeballs in mud and grinning like the fool that I am!
  7. Just home from Megadeth in Newcastle! Ears are ringing!
  8. Amy, do you want some toast? I'm not telling you! Well that's just not helpful at all!
  9. That's it! 4 exams DONE!! Not back until October. I'll have to start earning a living for the summer. Bloody students!
  10. One down, three to go! I've got brain melt!
  11. First of my exams today! EXAMS!!! PARP!!! It's come round a bit too bloody quick!
  12. I'm enjoying this endomondo thingy! It's pushing me harder than before. 19 Miles today. I'd love to try triathlon. Maybe when Im a bit all round fitter.
  13. Well done on that! Makes me feel a little better. There's nothing BUT hills round here! I was hitting them pretty hard too. Until my lungs were screaming!
  14. "Well, today I swam 400m, bikes 20km and ran 5km in 1hr and 8mins!!" All that in an hour and 8? I managed 13 mile in an hour and one. Was the ride flat? I'm a little embarrassed!
  15. Just the free one. It's pretty informative. I've seen people upload the details on the Facebook I pressed that button but it doesn't seem to have a appeared! Not that anyone is interested......
  16. Just nipping out for a ride. Gonna try this endomondo thingy.
  17. 20 miles with some silly hills! And you know it's windy when you've got to pedal on the downhill just to get anywhere!
  18. IVAN!! (I wasn't allowed to name my children!) Congratulations fella. All the best to you all. Sent from my LT30p using Tapatalk 2
  19. 12 miles on skinny Tyres. With some nasty hills. And a close call with a car on a roundabout. The driver received the full force of my wrath, complete with snot, spit, swearwords and interesting gesticulations!! I'm gonna start carrying an axe!
  20. Free firewood! I thought it was a Mickey take until I typed Fakenham into the map. I thought it was like Nowheretown or Madeupville! I think it's gonna cost Ya like it costs everyone else!
  21. I used to drive a tarmac wagon and before I was there they took delivery of a new Hot Box wagon, which consist of a big hopper with a screw at the bottom which drives the tarmac to a shoot at the back. One of the dirty lads got in the hopper and had a crap! The bosses came out to inspect their new toy, pressed the button that operated the screw and lo and behold a turd dropped out at their feet!
  22. Nice! I rode to Germany a couple of years ago with a big crack in my frame. Then some long distance tour last year. Remedied with a jubilee clip. It's not about the bike......
  23. Quick ten mile blast on old skinny Tyres!
  24. Ive been a fan of Monster Magnet for a long time but the newer stuff was turning crap. So i looked into it and saw that one of the old members had done a side project called The Atomic Bitchwax so I youtubed them. Loved it! So i went on amazon to maybe buy an album. Some of them were a bit expensive. Went on the bands website and you can down load the MP3 back catalogue, 7 albums, 70 songs, for $5, (£3.89) YEEEHAAA!!
