  1. Never used it, I've heard it splits quite bad but ok for practice work. It's all relative any ways - I just spotted where you are. would be an epic journey form here!
  2. Impressive, nice work. What's the fate of them big lumps? Look just right for carving, where are you based?
  3. Some gratuitous hole shots there mate! No seriously, you've got a nice series of art shots in the mix. Very well thought through.

  8. Like the aliens! This one could be a donkey - maybe?
  9. Interested to hear the price you've got. Been looking at an echo c351 wes , best internet price at ECHO, CS351, WES, Chain, Saw, 35cm, Echo Just out of interest, what are you after for the 070?
  10. Found this a while back, log splitting with wood wedges. Notice how they scored the line of intended split with the axe, seems to help direct it - like cutting glass I guess.Vikingeskibsmuseet Roskilde: Flexible planks

  19. They look good, are they chainsaw gloves? and where did you get em for a tenner? Just googled and they are up for £17!!!
  20. Isn't that a new form of Ganoderma carnosum? (A Gnome Crams Aroun:001_rolleyes:d)
  21. We honeymooned there, there's a cracking restaurant in the trees, even got a log fire in there!
  22. I think a lot of the funding has dried up these days. One option that I don't think has been touched on is - occasionally people fail to turn up for the course even though they've paid for it and as it may be non refundable the training provider may offer the place for free or at a discounted rate. If you don't mind the wait it could be worth looking into.
