  3. Well todays the first day I've had to be able to get back on it, and what a mistake I've made lol. Using an old jigsaw I went to cut the rest out an half it. The bloody thing didnt/wouldnt cut straight so ive started again. This time using a hand saw. Now ive got two pieces ready to shape 😥. Here we go again haha
  4. B&q £20 bench grinder. On the teeth there two different types of metal so would need to be cleaned up using different stones. Thats what i was shown and have used

  9. Ive got the straight silky and its little bro (yellow one) and was thinking of using them till i found some bud lol I am how ever looking on the net to find some wooden ones. If not try and make some 😥 haha
  10. Thanks to slackbladder, who i met for the first time today, and gratefully showed me his turning and other pieces of fantastic work he also gave me some different wood for a handle. So I've had a little whittle etc on some laburnum which had 3 different colour in. Next stage is to cut in half and start shaping it to my hand, then drill the holes for the nuts and inlay for the blade to sit in. Once im happy with this ill start on the walnut and other interesting pieces slackbladder gave me. Many thanks
  11. Its only been out since march bud
  12. For now try taking 2 sundays a month and work towards having each sunday off bud. I understand where your coming from as i do the same, sometimes i work the 7days but as hard as it for me to say no or not too book jobs in for the sunday. I realise that the time spent with my wife and little arbs far out ways time working. I think its just the time alone and not being with you is your partners view, so when you say you'll help with the cleaning or cooking she'll argue as thats not the real problem. Sit down at a restaurant pub etc in public, and talk about it. It'll hopefully stop you two from shouting etc and just listen and form a solution. Start off small like a wednesday evening off and a sunday off etcetc. Work at both mate and hope you can sort it out. Both take a lot of work Dan
  13. O and too much iced/chilled water gives you the squits
  14. There are others out there for less, and even new /refurbed with a tipper fitted is less than a ford/nissian 2011-2013 new lol. Have a look on mod auctions site as well May your search be quick, may it be pinz haha
  15. http://www.forst-woodchippers.com/st6/
  16. Great did say to soloman to speak with steve, since there was a lot of interest on here
  17. Not to sure with the tracked version but the forst st6 was a 8x6 i think and its a right beast. Also with the weight it may be higher since they've backed up each fold of metal with a weld, and not compromised anything just to save weight
  18. Lmao thats a good attempt lol
  19. Don't they best get your whittle on 😝
  20. If you want more info on the forst call 01794 329080 or http://www.redwood-global.com Soloman a rep said they should be on the website this week ? Theyd sold 20 as from tuesday already!
  21. Would it be ok to pop around tomorrow with my youngest ? Sorry thats its short notice bud
