  4. That's one thing I did remember to check when I was driving over there. It turns clockwise if viewed from behind looking at the seat
  5. I've a pair of the Strauss ones and can't fault them just make sure you get the right size as there quite big
  6. Cheers will have a spy later when the little one is in bed
  7. What channel was it on? As might get it on catch up later
  8. Any feedback on the above as looking at buying one with a snow blade on the front. It's a 1980 but only done shy of 800 hrs. It looks clean enough and everything seems to work on it a lick of paint wouldn't go a miss. But suppose that's to be expected on a 34 year old machine. What kind of price would you expect to pay. Cheers Craig
  9. That is very true sir and a grand job you made of it to. I'm just the dafty who had to ring it up
  10. I've a 390 on a 28 and it did fine on most of this one But sometimes wish I'd saved a bit more for the 395 to get a bit more bar length
  11. The kingspan will be a far higher insulation rating than the equivalent glass wool. But I do agree with you reference the batten to allow airflow but I'd only put the one one as opposed to two.
  12. Remind me next time we are working together as I know a wheel refurber so can ask him about shot blasting and powder coat or painting
  13. Well that's me all sorted now went in by this morning for a check on the new tyres and all is good in the world again
  14. I use a big screwdriver to turn the drum just take the side case of and you should see a hole you can put the driver in. You might need to slacken the belts of as it helps them turn easier
  15. Sounds like I've been lucky. I just need to get it in to the test station and all will be good hopefully
  16. I thought the same but thought it best to ask as it's not something I've seen done before
  17. Mind it was only a coffee not a plastic breakfast
  18. No definitely real turf as passed yesterday and seen it stacked on the drive. It's a new build that there trying to sell quickly I think. No Dave not a blue van in sight
  19. Passed a job today where they had layed new turf and they were going over it with the wacker plate is this normal? Never seen it done before and thought surely that can't be good for it
  20. Your not wrong mate it's the burger vans from now on
  21. Just outside mcds in bridge of don just nipped in for a coffee all be it an expensive one. So now got four good tyres and wheels for cheap lol
  22. There was a thread not so long ago that was on about this so worth a search can't remember the name of it just now
  23. I would but can't remember where I got them or find the receipt so that ideas out the window. Just back from buying four new wheels and tyres for around the same price as most places wanted for just the tyres so just away to fit them and go back to the vosa station to prove I've sorted the problem
  24. Think it's a local thing really as if you where from up here you'd understand it
  25. Got stopped by the nice men of vosa this morning and got the fine tooth comb treatment. Long and short of it I got new tyres on the trailer earlier this year and they had put the wrong weight rating on. So now I've to change out four tyres but thankfully no fine from vosa just a check to show I've done as asked and a days lost work
