  1. Doesn't sound to promising lol fingers crossed I got a good one
  2. It's not happened yet but did hear it was a weakish point. I'm liking it so far as comfy and light plus I dont seem to get a glare of the visor like I did with the godly coloured ones. Not sure if that's down to wearing glasses or not:confused1:
  3. Wasn't having a dig at you mate. I wouldn't say methodically made it majorly slower
  4. Cheers it's the ground helmet. Was just curious as it was pointed out to me today
  5. I use my cs100 for my day to day work since I bought it I can count on one hand the times I've hired in a bigger chipper. So yes I'd say it can be done you just work more methodically instead of horseing in big bigs
  6. Just out of curiosity does any one know what head torch fits the new husky helmet?
  7. I normally just use loppers or think screwfix do a thing called the mutt pro or something like that. Have you an old pair of ratcheting loppers you could try?
  8. Peli do a nice set that extend and store in its case. Nice and bright LEDs with different settings but think the price would bring a tear to your eyes and wallet

    Vw lt35

Well I've been to see it and all looks good just two rust spots on the drivers door so easy fixed. Found out it's an lt46 but classed as a 35 because it's been down rated

All sounding positive so far. Will give it a good look over and check for the dreaded rust on the tipping frame ect

Cheers guys I'm going to have a look at it today so will find out more and have a drive. It's my mate who is selling it so hopefully all will be good with it as he wants to keep it but can't afford to as he is skint after building his new house

Any one got any experience of them? I've been offered one with ally tipper bed in good condition. Think it was originally a 5 ton and been downplated to 3.5. Been told it pulls well and mechanically sound so I'm tempted but will go and have a look tomorrow but I don't want to be buying a bucket lol
  13. That's a cheap hair cut I won't tell you how much it costs my wife😱
  14. Cheers Andrew will speak to my insurance and see what they say. What kind of tasks did you have them doing and what's the score with ppe ect?
  15. Any of you guys ever take on school work experience? I had an email the other day asking if I would be willing to take someone on for it. But not to sure of the ins and outs of it all and how it works so any advice gratefully recieved.
  16. Oops but it still gets out to play now and again and you can Allways hire it lol
  17. I bought one with out even having a demo and as said it surprises you all the time what it will take. If I need to I hire in a bigger chipper but since may I can count on one hand how many times I've needed to hire it in. You just need to change the way you work slightly but you soon get used to it
  18. I'm seriously thinking about it tomorrow if it doesn't stop but it's mostly grass cutting this week
  19. I've got two Vikings ones a 484t and it's coming up to 3 seasons old and only cost me a new drive cable also got a 5 serries I bought this year and impressed with it to. There good mowers and leave a nice finish plus nice and light so don't leave big wheel marks behind and also a lot cheaper than the likes of a Honda ect
  20. It sure is grim up here as not stopped for two days now and the mrs has got me doing house work now so I'm praying for the rain to stop
  21. Nice one thanks for that might have to give them a bell tomorrow
  22. That seems pricey as am looking at the 10ft adjustable for the same price. Will have a look on there site just now tho. Cheers
  23. Looks like it's that time of year when every one is buying them as struggling to find somewhere with them in stock
