  1. If we were doing it, we would be charging around a £100 and would have it done in a hour so I id say it would be worth doing. and for a general gardener it would be an easy day at £100 still sounds like a good wage. I know climbers who climb hard for £100 a day.
  2. Id say £100 if not a little more with taking all arisings away.
  3. Great video lovely rigging really enjoyed it. Like the music too.
  4. I just thought the 6.5 would be right for our needs and have better build quality. Its for our tree surgery business and the odd bit of woodland management so not even used on a weekly basis. Think I best wait for the forestry show so I can have a good look around them and see whats on offer. When I do upgrade I will be putting the fransguard up for sale.
  5. Evening all looking at upgrading our fransguard 4ton winch for a 6.5ton, but before I go for the fransguard 6.5 ton I want to know what winches you guys rate and what you would go for. Cheers
  6. I look back now at the trees I did 2 years into the game and it scares me now knowing how little I knew.
  7. I would say if its had a new engine at those hours its probably been abused and never serviced etc I dont like the sound of it. We ran a tw150 up to 8,000hrs and never had a problem with the engine oil changed every 100hrs and she kept going and is probably still going now as we sold it 2-3 years ago..
  8. Ive recently bought a clark cut and climb from the recommendations of the arbtalk clang and im very glad I did. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I wouldn't say so, id rather be known for being expensive and doing a good job than cheap and a rough job. He was probably charged a fortune to fell them. When the hard bits the clearing up on that job. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

  22. I know this is a little of the topic the nxt village across from me had the post office broken into and the safe stolen the house opposite seen four men walking from it at half two in the morning carrying a baby (the safe) and didn't think anything of it.. so doesn't seem much good if people do see anything. Really feel for you mate had a really bad time of it back 2-3 years ago had four break in's in a year at our yard. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2

  24. Totally agree with the we are booked up to the start of Jan and the customers are happy to wait, if its a big job we ask them if they are happy to wait which they always are if not we would juggle things around to get the job done. If your busy your busy why change your current set up as its obviously working as your booked up with work and making a tidy profit. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2
