  1. I dont see why you would need to use both? And im sure you cant? The winch can handle it all lifting and lowering. Im sure 90% of GRCS owners only ever use the winch system.
  2. No only one at a time, but I only ever use the winch.

  5. Just watched a youtube vid of the tracked chipper looks a solid impressive bit of kit, will defo look at getting one when its time.

  7. I agree great little machine, only downfall is the sealed bearings meaning you cant grease them. But if you look after it keep blades sharpe dont feed it any crap It will do 500 plus hrs between bearing changes. And have great second hand value. Ive got two 150dhb and the tracked 150 vtr.

  9. Ive got a vauxhall combo 1.7 cdti fast little thing, plenty of room inside for kit great on fuel, cant fault it. Also Berlingo's are brilliant vans with bomp prof engines id go vauxhall or Berlingo myself.

  11. Raglan training centre south wales. Think they can take upto 12 on the course and do a deal if you have four or more wanting to do it.

  16. I won a year membership to burton district caravan club also welcomes tents and campers. Supplied by JLA Arborists on here. If anyone would like it your more then welcome as I dont have a caravan and the Mrs wont sleep in a tent lol
  17. I think it must of been a one day course but now changed to a two day course which makes it twice as boring. But we all need that little sheet of paper.

  20. Any info what the chapter 8 assessment is like? Just booked mine thought it was just a one day course. But its one day teaching and second day assessment? Over £200 bucks as well.
  21. Thanks guys I bought the chipper direct from Orange plant and was fully serviced by them ready for me. I think I caught it in time before it ruined the bearings.
  22. Ive always used stihl saw but started buying Husky now as they seem far more reliable, stihl have gone abit crazy in my eyes.
  23. Fair play rigging and srt on your first climb Whats with working in the dark? Did you start the job late in the day?
