  4. a good friend of mine is 59 and and a contract climber he's been climbing since his 20's a little slower now but will do any tree, he'll go up a big beech in the rain to reduce it and wont moan just gets on with it, dont make many like him anymore.
  5. Just bought a 560 xpg from Fr Jones and im seriously impressed with it, its one of the nicest saws ive every used, the power straight out of the box is out standing.

  9. It will most definitely help you win private jobs, as a potential customer just seeing plus vat will put them off. Im not VAT reg but have thought about becoming vat reg, but as 80% of our work is private I feel we would lose alot of business,

  19. Phil we have a 6.5 ton fransgard winch, powells a dealer for them, cracking tool, ideal for that Poplar.
  20. Sounds too cheap if anything mate, I wouldn't worry, we all win some and lose some.
  21. Id probably want more than £1000 to dismantle two big oaks and a sycamore plus ring all timber up and remove limbs on other trees. But really can't say without seeing it.
