  1. If I'd won the lotto mate trust me I wouldn't be buying Chippers winches and chainsaws I do live in hope though...
  2. Hi all, a am looking for advice on buying the correct winch for my Iveco 4x4, can you please let me know what you have and good/bad points etc... Also which brand I should go with and also stay clear of... My Iveco weights 3000kg empty and 5500kg loaded with a train weight of 9000kg The winch will be used for winching stems over, extracting timber and hopefully not recovery in the highly unlikely event that I get stuck Pics will be great
  3. Just as I was thinking this hospital only employed ugly nurses there was a knock on my door, I answered 'come in' and in came a true angel, how such a little thing can really perk you up, or should I say 2 little things

  5. Paul mate you'd be happy in a small tree house without that car
  6. The car is on a 10 plate so he must have paid 200-250k and his house is worth less?????? What kind of a moron would do this??? I love cars as much and probable more than the next man but to buy one thats worth more than your house.....come on that's just Barmy in my eyes, unless money is plentyfull
  7. He did also mention the his car cost more than his house and his other car is a........wait for it........... A clio
  8. Oh and guess what the guys answer was when Paul asked what he did for a living..... I can't tell you anything to do with that, he then got into his car as was gone
  9. The Lamborghini isn't mine, we saw it in the local petrol station, we pulled over to get a closer look as I thought it was the Aventador, after talking with the guy he told us that it is 1 of only 4 in the country, its the last of the Murcielago's a carbon fibre stripped out version called the SV, it weighs in at a whopping 100kg less than the standard car. The tyres were the most impressive part of the whole car for me being 335's on the back! This car would have cost in excess of £300k
  10. I agree, only reason I went for the 441 over the 461 is because my next saw down is a 261 and next up is a 650 All great saws
  11. Well then, what an awful end to such a fantastic week. I was taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary on Sat morning, I had a temperature of 40! I was put straight on a drip, had the doctor put his finger up my backside to do a prostate examination. i was then tested for HIV and hepatitis, worried beyond belief now! this morning i have woken up on ward 19, the infections and diseases ward. I'm now on antibiotics through a drip. There are no sexy nurses but in the more positive side I can see St James' Park from my window and I'm in a room on my own with my own private path room and shower room
  12. What other saws do you have

  17. Hi Jon, the scope is a Hawke Digital, its a great scope but i am the only person who has looked threw it that cant see the cross hairs??? Against the sky its kear as a bell but into woodland or scrub it just merges into the background, put me off a bit from using the old girl
  18. See Jon your eyes arn't as bad as you thought, aye its a Daystate Ranger .22, looks and feels great with the black rubber coating.
  19. The pole came down a real treat, the customer was a little worried as she thought it was gona end up in her living room, we did measure it exactly by putting a throw line up to the very top and measured it out on the ground. loads of room! Its always nice when its on the deck though. The tractor came and removed the rest of the timber so....Job Done!

  23. Mark mate it would my pleasure, and yes next job will be done with our rust bow saws, buckets on our heads and im sure ive got an old bit of three strand in my fuel store, may have been soaking up petrol and diesel spills for years but.... How hard can it be The Bronto was a sure way of maximizing safety to not only ourselves but to the general public and the council working who were working close by. And its nice to do a big dismantle with a MEWP from time to time, we have 3 big dismantles this week, 1st one was a sycamore climbed and rigged down, this beech and friday a dead chestnut. Id be fooked if id had to climb all three
