Chris and Paul's "Bang Tidy" thread.

I wish! Id have a fleet of Bang Tidy's! My Mitsubishi Canter was3 years old and out of Warranty to decided to change it for something a little more capable, the timberwolf 190 has been a great chipper, in fact my second in 10 years, but i am moving into slightly different types of work, still doing 70% domestic work but for the other 30% is big commercial work and now I have Paul the only thing slowing production of getting standing trees into the back of the Bang Tidy in 6mm pieces is the chipper. Ive had some good work recently and have decided to try and set myself aside from the rest in the area, bloody hope it works..... My theory is if a customer comes out of a house on a street where two tree companies are working I want that customer to come to us every single time -

There were so many great trees on site, lots of english oaks, sweet chestnuts, cedars etc, the cedars and oaks were in a particulally bad state. Not so much health wise more deadwood overhanging walkways and car parking areas and the cedas all had really ban fractures, looks very like snow damage but cant really remember the last time we had snow and surly a place like that would be on top of health and safety issues. If anyone is close enough to Leeds i would make enquiries... All trees are tagged but as we all well know that can mean nothing. Any one help identifying those leaves in the last set of pics? The tree was 16-20 meters. -

There is so little tree work up in Scotland in comparison to the amount of trees because Scotland is not highly populated in comparison to England. Obviously in the cities you will find just as many tree firms as England but when you get into the Highlands it is mainly small villages and towns. I looked in to opening up in Aviemore a few years ago as my parent live not too far from there but there tree firms that are operating are either closing down or struggling for work so it was a no brainer. Where in Scotland are you?
