  1. Shame, she's a right beauty! Would be a waste to loose, must be a champion of sorts.
  2. You guys understand that spreading your ticket buying doesn't increase you chances of winning anything, right? That's just not how statistics work. Im planning to win 74% of all the prizes this year😁
  3. Here I was thinking I was on a tree forum! Beers are doing their thing!
  4. My bad I'm a few of these past wit[emoji1]
  5. I don't understand what you're trying to say here. Yes it appears he/she shares the ideology, but it's not a fair comparison? How else would you describe nazism if not as an ideology? Or are you suggesting it's nit fair on the "original" nazi's?
  6. No I don't think so. A criminal may be convicted with or without a confession, admission or denial of guilt doesn't change the balance of the evidence.
  7. And still no answer.
  8. Which one? I try to have this in mind always, but as you know some bull slips past sometimes
  9. Coming across as one is not good, but sometimes you just don't realise how things are perceived by others. It's hard to recognise one's own stupidities, and we all have those. Actually believing these things however.. .
  10. These conclusions may be blatantly obvious to you, and I presume others too. I'd like to know what matelots view on the matter is though. I know what mine is, and yours, and countless others. But does he/she agree?
  11. Would you like to read my post again? It may be helpful.
  12. I'm imagining the following scene: Matefamily house circa 1939. Matemummy: "Matelittle, did you eat all the biscuits again!?!?" Matelittle: "well, Friedrich in the playground said that negroes are most likely to steal!" Matemummy: "gut Gott! Matelittle, did you eat all the biscuits!?!?!" Matelittle: "Heinrich told me that people from other countries do really nasty things, and they don't even understand the laws about biscuits" Matemummy: " aaaargh Matelittle!!!!!!!! " Etc etc etc...
  13. You've no idea of my world, or how you might be considered in it. I'll ask once more: Do you think you are a racist? So not: What do you presume I think? What do you think of Africa and why? What do you think about cultures?
  14. That would be correct for a solid cylinder. This isn't that, it tapers and the 1m includes bark, hence my calculations based on 75cm average dia
  15. If that is 45m, and 1m dbh, it's got enough taper to make me stand by my guess. Weights are for wood only, measurements are (presumably) over bark.
  16. Naw, you were doing so well! But now you've gone back to answering questions with opinion and counter questions. Shall we try again? Might make you feel better, go on boy, just say it! Do you think you are a racist? Just for clarity, the question above is the one question I'd like you to answer.
  17. Reasonable start, it's one out of two questions answered. Followed by trying to find reasons to make your thoughts seem reasonable, which IMHO is not relevant to the question but fair enough. So, one question at a time seems to work for you: are you a racist?
  18. Is there a "veteran Fungi register"? Would such a specimen warrant a tpo, or some fungus preservation order on that basis?
  19. Yeah, whatever... How abut answering a question (with an actual answer, not a redirection) just this once?
  20. That kind of reasoning would hold some sway if I was wrong. Do you genuinely think you're not a racist? Do you think you're a nationalist?
  21. I'm fairly mobile, see my ways are many. I've built a setup in Lincolnshire, one in Norfolk, one in the Netherlands, one in a truck and smells currently working on a couple in Oxfordshire. I enjoy pixie-wrangling, going full nerd now and then.
  22. That's really kind of you, thanks! I didn't crimp the red one on though, like I said I had one lying about so grabbed that. The Charger now has the proper strip link fuse fitted again, with bolted m8 connections so nu such issues. I've both a ratcheting crimper and a hydraulic one for bigger cables (I install off grid stuff as a small sideline) and fairly capable with them in general. I really appreciate the offer though.
  23. Female Spade. I think the heat changed the shape of the insulation a bit...
  24. If it's say a 75cm average perfect cylinder than itll be a touch under 9m3, times 550 (kg/m2 for fresh douglas) makes about 5t, max
  25. He did, about two weeks ago. It's been the most moving radio broadcasting I've ever heard.
