  8. So all whipped up and ready to role, I made one adjustment after a conversation with Drew B this morning as he noticed it was not a locking Brummell which he was right to be extra save I have redone it with a locking Brummell, the whipping is not the neatest but for my first I'm pleased...... 9. I agree with Paul here it's not always climber preference it is in fact down to the hitch no matter how you climb a certain hitch will only work good with a certain cord and rope combination, if you have some spare penny's then buy a few lengths of different. Cord and experiment .......when I used 13mm Yale I fount 10mm beeline was best on a distal but and beal regate was better on a helicle ..". for what it costs to do this in lengths of cord £20-£30 depending on what you want to achieve really....
  10. I see only one picture of the statue on Facebook and thought it was cool but it's not till you see the picture of you scaling the rocks you put the size of it in perspective ..".great stuff tony looked a fab day out...
  11. You to dean even if it was for like 10 seconds... to be honest though your much bigger than I thought you would be.....
  12. Did not see this before but that has to be one of the best physics explanations I've ever heard....... You know while I'm taking time out from the thread getting my photos and that back together again, should be good to see some other arbtalkers Rigging pictures systems techniques so on and so on. Don't worry I can still pick back up where I left off. Oh Steve I tried out the shrek system only I have evolved it.....great stuff works awesome.....pics to follow....

  22. Thanks for the vote of convedence mate, I'm sure there are better offers out there but up till now it seems I'm the only one to make the offer..... And arron I was not being dramatic about your post nor did I want you to change what you had put, just trying to work out why everyone is wanting to learn more but not pay a small price ? Nice of you to re think though buddy respect for that...
  23. Haha Sam wish I could say the same for my body...... Thanks though mate.....must be the fresh lincs air.....
  24. 2 1/2 hours??? What's wrong with you young un's i have had the privilege to work with some of the best climbers in the world. And the late Sam Robinson was no exception.....if not the best at one time. I had the pleasure of being asked by him and severel others on a rec climb when I was 18 the drive was a crueling 3 hour drive the second week I past my test with motorway driving involved.....it's how bad you want to learn not what stands between you and an opotunity ....just my thoughts anyway no disrespect ...
