Bastard shops were bastard shut after I walked up a hill to them with a spine right on the verge of packing a bag and taking the kids. Came home angry and lashed up this anaemic shakshuka bullshit with some super noodles I found on the floor. I need to recruit a wife for domestic duties if I’m going to keep working late. I want a drink and my pipe pressed into my hand when I walk though the door and frankly I don’t care if she looks like John Fashanu at this stage.

More to the point, with the thingy gone, what do I buy? Initial googling was pushing a coil and HT lead complete unit at me for £163. Seems steep. Has anyone got a part number/link for just the HT lead or even just the hood bit? Or can a man in a brown coat (who works in a saw shop) say, “I have just the thing, young man.” and produce a thingy?

Yep. They dry badly. Net bags of 3" to twigs went mouldy for me. Trimmed out bigger stuff might be better. Milling scabs would fine I reckon. Straight into stackable supermarket shopping delivery crates would be one way of doing it. Depends on your arrangements and appetite for handling/moving things. I suspect if you had a drying floor available you wouldn't be asking us.

In fairness I've been wanting to buy into a proper battery system for a while for other tools. The cost seems much less offensive when you're looking at the ability to add a quality rattler or something to existing batteries for not much.

That looks good. Anyone used one for heavy duty stuff (like caked-on, oily sawdust)? The YouTube videos are mostly of women and poofs blowing dry concrete dust.
