  1. The CPS are dreadful for it, disclosing five times late or not at all. Ask any criminal defence lawyer.
  2. You recently posted about how many blokes and how much kit you had and how you weren't making much money... He can price how he likes. That's the market. It's not his fault if you've got kit and staff costs to factor into every job, some of which he can do more efficiently/cheaply over three mornings with a silky and a bonfire.
  3. Hang on. Do you mean your M300 is 700mm with wheels or without wheels?
  4. Too tight and I'm not a door fitter. I'm hoping someone will come up with something 600 or so that I've not yet found.
  5. It was actually 690mm with the door in the frame. Why they couldn't be standard and bigger, I don't know. Then you could fit sofas etc through them easily.
  6. Which bit is 625mm? Website says 720mm. https://www.jobeau.eu/en/store/woodchipper/professional-woodchipper/m300-woodchipper
  7. Yep. I read that. It's a passageway in a garage so diagonal not possible.
  8. Could someone with a Timberwolf 13/75G put a tape measure across it for me please. I want to get one through a 700mm doorway. Will it go down that narrow with the hopper and wheels and axle off?
  9. I need a machine to go through a 700mm doorway for one day (almost certainly not the full day - it's only one 40 foot cypress) near Gateshead. What machines should I be investigating and who hires them? And anyone in the area who has a suitable machine and would like to hire it, with or without operator, please get in touch. Very clean garden. Nice area.
  10. Very satisfying. I’ve not been around many machine operators but I imagine I’d be right in saying she’s doing it well?
  11. I've read on various places, including here probably, that some Stihl 261s are rubbish and burn through bearings or something. Is it certain years or certain letters after the numbers?
  12. And the ship owners who could load the boats up and profit if the voyage was a success or profit from the insurance if the ship went down (with the cargo and blokes).
  13. It also had an impact on early employers' liability law. Equally shitty.
  14. Read about the origins and history of it and the Companies Acts. Bastardry.
  15. You’re right to point out the tax inequality between the rich and the poor(er) but would you rather everyone was equal and paying little tax or everyone was equal and paying a lot? I’d certainly prefer people were paying little, therefore keeping the state at a tolerable size.
  16. TPO, history of concerns and it fell through a building that could have very easily had people in. This is an excellent example of how dangerous state involvement is in something as seemingly innocuous as having nice trees to look at.
  17. I’ve no idea what that means.
  18. Do you work in the public sector?

Yeah. I follow. I’m not worried because I’ve always been good at not losing condition. My favourite is when I take kids rock climbing, usually in big boots and tweed, spend all day watching boulderers (who are all ripped as fuck and have very fashionable hats) trying certain problems and then ask if they mind me having a go just as I’m leaving. Even though I’ve not rock climbed seriously for years, I usually flash it and then coolly leave with their dignity and their girlfriends. Also not worried because I’m not an especially good (tree) climber now and I still get them down well.
