  1. This will continue to happen with the Euro as well as other currency's including the dollar:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  2. mad matty, you were more than accommodating with your potential competition. I believe A 48 hour call back to you is in order for any future jobs. Based on the updates you have provided it reads like he was job shopping to me. Unless the opposite party has a real emergency like a death in the immediate family or a serious accident preventing any contact, I would charge for a full day of lost work. Make sure you have that in writing and signed off by your general contractor. Time is the single greatest commodity that can not be recovered and is generally undervalued. easy-lift guy
  3. Big J. In the best interest of the balance of the dogs life I would make sure your mom has no more contact with that dog. You have a solution by saying that the dog just passed away and put the matter behind you. In time your mom will forget about the dog and continue on without it. Easy enough to say, however if it were me I would not give it a second thought. easy-lift guy
  4. Welcome from the Sunshine State. easy-lift guy
  5. Nice pieces Dave! easy-lift guy
  6. What's even better is you have a plan:thumbup1:. Stay on the straight and narrow. Remember in life as well as business your toughest competition will be yourself. I financed my first business in house and grew slowly from there. After I had established my self in the business community and had my Bank as a customer I started my Second business with funding from my bank which financed my loan. Within 5 years that was paid for free,clear:thumbup1: The Easy-Lift Harness company was formulated the same way as my Second business, except in this case I allowed my customers to handle the financing for my expansion. Always good to have additional plans of securing funding, when and where possible. easy-lift guy
  7. When anyone produces a quality product at a reasonable price and is on time with same product, no one could ask for more. Customers like the one you have described are Golden and like to be treated the same way you would like to be treated. In life as in business everything depends on you, especially if you are the company. All the best, Hodge! easy-lift guy
  8. Only 25 miles south of my home. This location is basically where anything and everything can go!. With many gallons of Adult beverages flowing and raging hormones at work this place in the Summer months puts on a really big show. If one has enough $$$$$ and the time to more or less forget everything else you to can become a Redneck groupie and join the club!. easy-lift guy
  9. Your quote speaks volumes. Vernon reproductive rights really take the cake:sneaky2:. easy-lift guy
  10. Congratulations, and many happy returns to you and yours. easy-lift guy
  11. Dip stick comes to mind. easy-lift guy
  12. I suspect your not to concerned about your online privacy, not to mention absolute junk science that has been proven false. Sorry to say PT Barnum has your number:sneaky2:. Good luck with all the junk mail heading your way soon enough. easy-lift guy
  13. Seems the whole deal fell thru. The citizens of Cyprus spoke and the vote was against any funds being deducted from any account. Guess the gas exploration offer by Russia fell through in lieu of paying off the debt. easy-lift guy
  14. I think they have Cypress trees in Cyprus:lol: easy-lift guy
  15. You are correct Simon. Last I heard the vote on this matter has been postpone. The President of Cypress is all in favor of this move, however it is reported that the Finance Minister is not:thumbdown:. Have also heard that Italy is talking about something along these lines as well:sneaky2: easy-lift guy
  16. Thanks Dave,Penfold. I thought it was something along them lines. easy-lift guy
  17. Just heard about this story on FOX News. I am astonished that this is happening for the greater good of propping up another member of the EU. It is bad enough that the Communist and chief of this country continues to dilute the US Dollar for the sake of bankrupting this economy and others but to seize the funds from depositors from your citizens accounts is about as low as it gets. I wonder how much more will be required for the citizens of the UK to finally come to the conclusion that the EU is not for them? Are the UK troops stationed in Cypress ATM part of the UN or another deployment? easy-lift guy
  18. You opinion is interesting skyhook, now I want to read Shanes. easy-lift guy
  19. Now I am curious:confused1:, the word by word quote about the retired copper bragging about his son not becoming a criminal. What in the world could you have been talking about that could have killed a conversation you were having with this person?. Seems to me he was rather proud of his child rearing and as a father was rightly glad that his son did not choose crime as an occupation. easy-lift guy
  20. Dean, that must have been a horrible experience for you and your family. No excuse on the part of the "authorities " for that. easy-lift guy
  21. Agreed Dean. Good and not so good all over. I still respect the Police as a whole, however when the Police overstep their bounds and decide to take matters into their own hands I don't Cotten to that at all:thumbdown: easy-lift guy
  22. Because he was profiled:thumbdown:. I had this happen to be 18 years ago in a small and really insignificant part of Florida know as North Port. Seems after shopping for groceries 2 blocks from my than residence I was pulled over by one of the local Police. Seems since I had my right head light was not functioning I was entitled to be stopped and searched. Seems since I had debris in the back of my truck along with my gear I was given the chance to come clean, "so to speak". I was asked amount other things if I had any large catches of cash, explosives, drugs or firearms in the cab of my truck. I told idiot who was posing as a Police officer that I did not have any of those items and that I did not drink or smoke or used drugs. At that point I was told that the K-9 was on its way and I had one last chance before a search of my truck was to be done. By this time and after a 12 hour summer work day,not to mention frozen groceries melting in the cab of my truck just 50' from my fridge, I told the idiot who pulled me over either charge me with something right now or leave. Another actual Police officer who had showed up as backup calmly walked me back to my cab and said I would be on my way shortly. Another 5 mins of waiting and a warning ticket to get my head light fixed I was allowed to go home and call it a day. No apology from the idiot, no K-9 unit and yes I did save my groceries from being thrown out. Profiling takes place everyday and in many ways around the world. My advice if your ever in SW. Florida and you see the exit or sign for the city limits of NorthPort, slow down to the speed limit and get out of town ASAP:thumbdown:. Don,t stop unless pulled over and remember this story which actually did happen. easy-lift guy
