  1. Does anyone know of any tip sites near there or anywhere in south London (inside M25) but must be open at a weekend. Happy to pay good tipping fee. Must be open on a Saturday and Sunday [emoji51]. One load of woodchip, 1 or 2 loads of logs in 4ft lengths. Will be delivered in Transits. Thanks. Al 07834 414271
  2. Enquires here went mad three weeks ago. I think it’s the national mental state “Life goes on, life must go on”. Hopefully.
  3. I’d recommend the Distels with Velcro uppers and definitely lowers.
  4. Does anyone have one? What are your thoughts? What are the bad points? Thanks. Oregon PS250 battery pole saw (8″ bar & chain) – FR Jones and Son Ltd | Warehouse Operating As Normal WWW.FRJONESANDSON.CO.UK The Oregon Pole Saw gives you precision, power, and a telescoping reach for all trimming and pruning jobs. The shaft allows up to 4.5m of access, while the premium battery pack and mid-mount motor provide you with the longevity and comfort for a long day’s work...
  5. I have the Echo pole saw and I would not recommend it because of the ergonomics of the handle and the chain jumps off very easil. I wish I’d bought the Stihl. I know nothing about any of the other brands.
  6. If I had some high octane Vodka there is no way I’d be using that for sensible things like sanitising or purifying. That stuff would be going straight down the hatch! [emoji1363]?[emoji23]
  7. I’ve just received and email from a well known Arb retailer: 250ml hand sanitiser £24.50! 110 disinfectant wipes £24.45! 5kg of Pasta. WTF! How shameful. I will never again buy from them!
  8. You’d think so but that doesn’t necessarily work. I’ve witnessed it with my own eyes and ears on several occasions.
  9. Thanks Al. Al. [emoji1360]
  10. No, nothing?? Must be something.
  11. Hi J.tyler I’ll call you, at a sociable hour. Thanks Al.
  12. More staff needed with immediate start if possible. Due to a continuing steady influx of work, we need to take on two more people. As ever in this world, everything is flexible. The job can be for self employed or employed but we do need two people full time, ideally. Pay is realistic and based upon your abilities. Predominantly domestic work with some commercial jobs (only the nice ones though). Please contact Alasdair 07834 414271 or [email protected] Thanks.
  13. It’s a few months on, so how are these boots holding up?
  14. IMO this is actually the beginning of the planets 6th mass extinction event. Many species have already fallen because of humans but humans will fall pretty soon anyway. If all things were equal, the final result would probably be about 65-70% death. However the recent human intervention means the final result may be 85-90%, according to people that know a lot more than I do of course. Sorry. Slightly off topic.
  15. Has anyone got the Courant Squire V2 rope? Honey Brothers sell it. Any sensible feedback is well received.
  16. If he’s been using a Willans for 25yrs, he won’t care about fit, comfort or style. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  17. Pretty expensive what it is and we hardly ever use it. Worth every penny though every time it does get used! 10m of Sirius and an ART positioner on mine.
  18. Do you actually need that measuring stuff or did you just buy it cos was discounted! Are you building football pitches now? [emoji23][emoji12]
  19. Any more news on these boots? How are they holding up? Comfort? How true is the sizing?
  20. Thanks so far. I’m aware of the chipping performance so don’t care about that, it’s just any issues I care about.
  21. Ok so no useful feedback at all so far, just a near bun fight about who’s done what and why [emoji849]. All I am interested in is any regular or knows faults with the Forst ST6P and the Timberwolf equivalent.
  22. This is not a brand comparison question! I just wondered what the pitfalls are, if any, with the design of each? Design flaws? Construction flaws? Recurring problems? Any comments from current operators would be appreciated.
  23. GA Groundcare is correct. Arbrep Services are still operating as they were. Jodi is also South African so they’ll still be a shithot company!
  24. Does anyone know of anyone that can deal with repairs and servicing work on a Jensen in the south east? (Arbrep Services have relocated to South Africa). My chipper is only just over three years old and low hours so I don’t feel the need to trade it yet. Thanks.
  25. Same story for me. [emoji1360]
