  1. When will it be available for iphone and iPad?
  2. Manius Quinctius Sura. I quite like that actually!
  3. It's because people think they are saving money. Same people also sharpen their blades with an angle grinder! I'd always strongly recommend only buy genuine and from the dealer. Cheap blades can cause appalling damage.
  4. I know a guy who had one and it was a good vehicle until it broke. Super Expensive to fix!
  5. I think Ian Flatters and Testcricket101 had theirs done and had good results. It can be done by post in one day. I think I ran a thread on this last year but can't remember. Back to the TV Girls thread then....
  6. Protos Integral is designed as a multi industry helmet and can be used on ground and aloft. Britain's retarded rules don't permit arial work for it yet so I bought mine from Holland. In any case, its designed for both.
  7. That's right Bobh. After I watched a couple of the videos on their website I just had to have some. Also, I really love seeing people doing well from their own entrepreneurial talent and this woman clearly had plenty of that.
  8. A while back I felled a Monkey Puzzle and Nepia took the logs away. I got paid by my client but didn't have to shift the logs. Nepia sold the logs. Everyone's a winner! 👍
  9. Nearly forgot. I also used some to attach the mount on my Protos. It comes in different colours so the job doesn't look like a bodge.
  10. I bought some of this because Bobh mentioned it on another thread. https://sugru.com It's amazing and can be used for anything. One it's best attributes is that it can be removed easily. I've used it to make the Silky handle a snugger fit in the scabbard and put a bit for my finger to rest on. then I put some on a hydraulic hose as a protective pad because the chipper body was rubbing through the hose.
  11. Crikey I'd never thought of stuff like this! We live in a bad bad world now.
  12. ??? It's not a typo, I have fixed the GoPro helmet mount onto the helmet with the Sugru. Have I missed something?
  13. Bobh mentioned this adhesive called Sugru so I bought some and it's amazing stuff. I've used it to fix the helmet mount on to my Protos. Perfect!
  14. Did I mention the Protos is a great helmet! 😂😂 Sorry, I'm bored.
  15. All fittings on the Protos can be removed and replaced with Protos parts. Padding is removable for washing.
  16. A breathable plastic hat? This is joke right?? If not, Protos Integral helmet.
  17. Business owner, Sole financial provider, General dogsbody and definitely the bottom of the pile!
  18. I've been using the 10mm Beeline that came with my HH but thought I'd try 8mm OP because I have some left over. It felt really nice for descent and ascent but I couldn't stop the stopper knot 'rolling' which means the hitch gets looser. Because the HH is do hitch sensitive just a fraction looser and it doesn't work so I kept having to stop and tighten it. Anybody else used 8 or 10mm OP? After all that though, going back to the 10mm Beeline was much better. I guess I was wasting my time anyway as Ropetek recommend it.
  19. You need a Rope Wrench & HC pulley or Hitch Hiker or Unicender. Aswell as that a Pantin is essential. Use this for a while and learn more from the other threads. Then you'll add gear that really suits you rather buying some mistakes. There are some good RW and HH videos on YouTube. Only use a base anchor for access into the tree then set your TIP. Read the Rope Wrench Feedback thread and the Hitch Hiker thread.
  20. Paul, it sounds really 'crap' to have to deal with that and I'd go mental. However, I'd also do what you're probably doing anyway, which is to focus on the big picture. You've got a full time job with a pay cheque every month and things can stay the same or get better. You're in a great position really. 👍
  21. What type of grinder Ty?
  22. £1000 is not a great amount as these things will last you quite a few years. I'd go with what Gustharts just said. I've bought from them before and found them to be extremely helpful.
  23. Use the LJ in the same way as the SJ. It doesn't self tend quite as fluidly but you can pull slack out the top very easily when on a long high branch walk or at any time when up near the same height as your TIP. It'll take you two climbs to get used to it.
  24. Anybody use one of these? http://www.earborist.com/FOR_SALE_Stump_Grinders_New_Bandit_HB20___Category__Stump_Grinders_7754.html
  25. Supposed to be poring with rain but only had slight drizzle.
