  1. I was quoted £16,000.00k + VAT, to include the Kubota loader, by 2 different salespeople before Xmas, for the MK5000 Kubota. It was very very tempting.
  2. and I quote "St Pete's with a mate that had recently been released from bail, acquitted of murdering his wife" so he DID murder her, but was acquitted!!
  3. How many acres(of Class 1 Arable) you got then Wicky? PS Did I mention the waist length naturally blond hair?
  4. Jesus! , Ah didnay ken ye got yer MBE for shagging a staggeringly diverse selection o foreign birds Kevin. Are ye sure your not a 007 type somewhere under that carefully presented facade. Jealous is all. mth P.S. Did your mate murder his wife, like you carelessly state 007.
  5. Hi Stock, are ye now stocking/stalking me over here in return? aka MarcusTheHat
  6. I shall perhaps post some photographs of our magnificent outing to Innishowen last June for the GWagen Register annual meeting when the Van was v. nochantly and skilfully piloted off road by our blond attractive mountain biking and yet still unmarried 24 year old Physio daughter. Suitable suitors, after careful vetting, could well get the Van as a Dowry. I live in hope! mth
  7. they can contentiously support a team’s electronic needs for weeks at a time. ah tink dey meaned "continuously" they really outta employ a better proofreader! nice tool though, an near as nice as my 461 LWB gay wagen Van:001_tt2:
  8. I understood Alder to be the best for wet clay sites, and whilst not the visually most attractive, supposed to be very good for wildlife, I know the Alder I planted in a wet dour clay hole are properly thriving. good luck marcus
  9. Eddie, First serious commersitations re the wilful damage to your big Libherr, I can only imagine how stomach churning it is to deal with & accept, but as someone else mentioned, quite staggering that Liebherr state a 3 week turnaround. & Meh! Re that high-spec NH you posted, ah dinny tink yon "flotation" tyres be ony guid up the Garry Bog. So, sorry, but no thanks. A D6 or D7 on wide tracks would float my particular boat much better. Since I got a couple of reasonably extensive Duck Ponds to scoop out.
  10. Anyone any opinions on these stoves, or indeed, the importer/supplier, Ludlow Stoves? mth
  11. Thattle be the "forgive those who sin against us" bit then Eggs! well most likely:001_tt2:
  12. "Agent Orange", this I like Eggs, and the quip about the Library. Cant wait to see the garish colour(color) clash when Trump (i) Swills a Guinness for the Irish press. (ii) Wears the Trump tartan. I will keep the sunglasses handy just in case. cheers m
  13. Baasstaarrd! Some folk ave all the luck=hard earned experience. cheers mth
  14. The CoI rector in our village, retired aged about 80 having given his long and unmarried life to the Parish, proper old Gent that he was, with (like Father Brown on the TV) a very balanced view on the vagaries of humankind. Once confided in me that he reckoned his liftime of ecumenical work had most probably been in vain, given the Tree hugging proclivities of the Pagens in his congreation. 'e warny wrong either!
  15. Well shucks! An there I thought we were Stihl arguing about the merits, or otherwise of the Husquavarna brand. And anyway, indeed & obviously "in my opinion" But I would still argue that Dewey was absolutly correct, we should not NEED religion, to live a good and fufilling life. Or a Dave Allen put it "may your God(s) go with you". Me? I imagine I am coming round to a mostly Buddist way of thinking, in attempting to attempt to live in harmony with nature and other people. Live and let live, incl rodents & other potentially destructive wildlife, stop catching fish for "sport", & lovingly rearing birds to blast out of the Sky, etc. etc.
  16. "Dewey" courtsey of Malcolm in the Middle had the whole religion think well summed up, when he discussed, with his RE teacher, smiting Ants with a shovel, whilst at the very same time wondering; did the Ants imagine he was their God? Dewey concluded we should not need the threat of eternal dammnation, aka. religion to lead good lives. He was correct.
  17. Well that will be my multi-tasking feminine side coming out then. Anyway "snoozing" implies dozing or sleeping lightly & intermittently:001_rolleyes:
  18. Near 58 and 2 weeks to retirement, and forby that just enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday forenoon in bed. Followed by a long dog walking session, followed by a decent lunch, wi a wee dram or twa, 'n now snoozing on the couch with a good fire roaring away in the stove. Life is well good! Not that I was always of that mindset in my younger angst ridden years. Such is life.
  19. Well seeing as a single 2250 litre fill heats our 3750 sq ft house for over 12 months, when agumented by a nominal 8kw wood burning Morso, "quite a lot", would be the only answer. The oil heats underfloor and 2 rads in the winter and DHW in the summer. but back when the children were at home and we were heating the upstairs as well, I guesstimated an average output of 5kw by 24 hours = 120kwHrs = a 30kw boiler running for 4 solid hours. mth
  20. Guys, as a libertine 58 year old, I am well past being offended by such petty behavouir. More amused that a mod could be so easily offended as to ban me for a week for my reply to his pm. being ; "ok my Precious:001_rolleyes:" his pm concernng my negative comment about that odious individual Bercow. Who, (& to be clear, I refer to Bercow) actually on reflection, lacks the depth or warmth to be a proper C**T. Cheers, Marcus PS we took the same line with our children to their "thats not fair", i.e. tough, that life, so suck it up:001_tt2: PPS see you in about a month!
  21. When used in response to a pm from certain sensitive mods, because one openly disagreed with their opinion on that odious venal c ontemptible nut Bercow, after he banned Trump from Parliment Which deliberate miss-spelling I found in 5 other posts, without, as far as I am aware, any banning ensuing. regards, and fingers crossed mth
  22. My take also, based on the absolute loathing of the Clinton's on Benzworld.org, including by a significent %age of Democrat voters. mth
  23. Bingo! As in I understood his comment to be allegorical, not literal. Oops, also "bingo" to you observation above 'huck.
  24. Whal dog clippers, with the No2 set, run round entire skull about every 2 months, job done. Previously used el cheapo Bic double blade disposable razors, sometimes simply with (good) soap worked up to a lather. If/when I take up Pipe smoking, I may go back to a straight razor.
