  1. I climb eveeyday for a big company for not alot more than that! So id say that was good if hes only new and a groundy! As said above if hes not intelligent enough to justify wjy hes worth 80 a day then i wouldnt use him..
  2. Thanks for the offer mate, but i have used the rope guide enough to know i need to buy one or the pulley! I think i'll go for the pulley saver as theres no mecanical insides to get damaged if it does take a knock! Thanks the reponses! :thumbup:
  3. As the title suggests confused on what one to get, im not to keen on having to retrieve the rope guide with a throwline all the time as most of my work is other tarmac.? Whats your thoughts as theres only a tenner in it?? Thanks in advance
  4. Climbed on both velocity and tachyon! Both with hc and sj. Cracking ropes, i like the tachyon better with a hitch, but the velocity is more static and in my opinion better for the spiderjack i guess its the same for lockjack!

  6. Definitely been posted before followed by a very lengthy pointless discusion.. It was done as a "what if" instead of actuall work practice! Good clip in my opinion!

  9. Just a quick help call! Not good on fungi ident and im not too sure on the host speices! I think its a Pin Oak?? Any way its situated in my mums school car park and is showing signs of decline, leaf blotch wilting, die back and dead wood. The bracket to me looks like ganoderma resinaceum?? A proper ident from one of the more experienced guys would be great!

  11. Deffo go to college, went to sparsholt couldnt fault the course in anyway. As long as you turn up everyday and try hard the oppotuinities are there for you!
  12. Much prefer the alveo to vertex, wouldnt call it pants mines 2 years old and has a hard life!

  15. I use the throwpod and the harrison rocket 8oz bag which i love to pieces throws like a rocket!

  18. Just come down from the third tree of rhe day.. Safe to say their is no fluid left inside me.. Seems to have soked my face, t **** and c/s trousers! Aha lavvve it!

  20. Yeah tool strops should break away under a heavy load.
  21. Put a bit of rag/hanky on the helmet band mate, helps with the sweat abit!
