  7. was a wet morning yesterday so we stayed in the yard (nice and dry with a kettle on tap ) and did some tool maintanece. my collueges work saw is a ms261 and he took the clutch of too clean out behind it checked the spark plug and them reasembled it. he then tried to run it up afterwards. the saw was warm so didnt need chocking. after about the third pull it just back fires with quite a loud bag. another four pulls and the same thing happens. then chocked it and it doesnt fire but back fires again. the plug looks fine so what could be wrong with it? any ideas.. i am usualy pritty good with problem anaylsis but i am stumbbled by this one. (and no husky jokes ive already given them to him )

    Ms460 ?

had no problems with my two.. .. they take anything you throw at them. considering getting one of them ported and a full wrap shipped over
  17. i know its a bit bigger being 100hp but look at a mccormick mc100. we have two of them at work and they are spot on machines, very reliable. and a good work horse.

they dont sell the 85 anymore.. its been replace with the fs90.. if it low vibes you want, the stihl models from fs360+ are all low vibe machines with bags of power
  19. ive got both.. i tend to use the stien more.. it dosnt leave and x on ur head when u take it of like the petzl.. and doesnt itch... plus with the visor and the pull down black visor and an arborcom headset, you look like a fighter pilot

    Ms460 ?

definatly not.. one of the worse saws stihl have produced. come over to tha dark side and pick up a husky 560xp or the 576xp.. however. the ms460 is a good saw.
