  2. i love it too,, had a go using a mates spiderjack with it and works relly well. i have been recomended to scrap the prussic when using it and try the vt with it witch i cant get used to at the mo. so the imori is sidelined till i can get a spiderjack. (i have a yale magma ice rope to )
  3. just up the road from me, i did alot of tree work at the bfi there. took some big diseased tree's down.
  4. i would have said 500-600 a day depending on quantity.
  5. i have sujested using you and your hiezohack to that trust god knows how many times, but no, they still send us out with a 7 inch timberwolf.. its slowing us down so much.

  9. strimmer heads are all well and good but with a small engined machine such as a fs310 will be hard work in long grass.. thats were blades come in, the 3 prong blade on my even small machine (fs85) will tackle anything with ease and less strain on the machine in demanding jobs, ei long grass, thick grass, brambles ect.. hope this helps.

  11. you will never regret it.. i have been looking forward to doing mine for too long to ever regret doing it. if you can get down to milton keynes sometime we will go for a reccy climb... there loads of superb climbs around here..

  15. cheers guys... first day of cs32 went well apart from the huge pops had to be chipped straight away around the bases of other trees... we only felled 2 trees each (4 of us) and chipped 4.. there so big they just shatter and as there in an area that is beeing used for camping to the swedish house mafia lot, the area has to be left imaculate. brushcutter, its a popular plantation in milton keynes,, a massive plantation of a very fast growing pop
  16. just get the stihl 3 prong brush knife. Stihl brush knife 300mm strimmer/brushcutter blade | F R Jones and Son and you need the fitting kit aswell whitch is about £10.. this is the way forward for long grass like you say.
  17. a quick question mr spud (im cheeky i no) what is the best way to wip of the flywheel? air gun? also is it clockwise or anti clock wise?
  18. good luck on your 38 i have my coarse start on the 23rd tho can already climb pritty well. dont panic and you will be fine, double check everything you have done.. and if you realise you have made a small mistake tell the assesor and tell him/her what you should have done instead.

  20. thanks mate am feeling confident. ive had a fair bit of experiance felling big tree's and a fair bit of experiance climbing, and conduct a few rescues of a pole and from the canopy be4.. the only bit im worried about is winching out a hung up tree
  21. ive have cs 32 staring tomorrow, cs38 starting on the 23rd and cs39 starting on the 30th.... gona be another busy month.
