Hi,bit of an odd one, but are there any 'human species specific' fungi? Or fungi which are mutually beneficial and preset in or on our bodies?

I heard from a friend, who may be wrong, that recent tests involving the large hadron collider (spelling?) had anomalies in the results suggesting particles travelled faster than the speed of light I'm far from a physicist, but if this turns out to be true, it could debunk the theory, and many other... -

Merip and Griff perhaps with mycelium connected to roots of nearby living trees? Doesn't explain F h though? Utilizing the last bits of deposited vinegar acids perhaps? probably way off the mark!

So do you have to be a member to go on their courses? And do you have to go on their courses to be listed on the relevent sections on their site?

Anyone here a member? If so what do you make of it? Is it worth the money and what kind of assessment/training/cpd is involved? Had a look on their site and info on joining seems sketchy and sparse. The application form is little more than contact and payment details

Maybe I'm missing something here, but why do they need to be gone for a year? What is happening on the land?! Can they not be worked around?

Well done Rob, your id skills extend beyond trees and shrubs then eh? Plectranthus looks spot on. Flowers are no where near the 'spikes' described for those species, but with a hefty 350+ sp, the genus will do!

Checked those Ficus and doesn't look right. Flowers are tiny white things on the tips, you can just see them in the pics...

Fantastic little book. I'd say virtually essential for anyone making decisions about tree work, small enough to leave in your glove box. I'll get it in the post to you ASAP Hama, with a copy of shroom miscellany, and a chinchilla whisker bookmark I used in the vta handbook
