  2. I know how you feel, I don't think dishwashers are that bad for the environment when you compare it to everything else that goes on in the world!!! Whats a washboard and mangle do anyway????
  3. Can see your in the real world when it comes to tyre prices!!
  4. All in all, get a big mug of coffee and a jar of biscuits, get on the phone, get shoved from pillar to post, be no wiser at the end but you may have a piece of paper allowing you to do something at some point some where.........
  5.
  6. If it involves HLS ring natural england and go through it with them, doing anything without them knowing may result in you getting more than a smacked wirst from the. We have a quite a big HLS agreement, and if you speak to them and not just do it, they are fairly flexible and always very helpful....may be not the quickest but its the only way to do it.
  7. Personally, for what it sounds like you use, I'd ask Spud (Posted above) for what second hand offerings he has. You'll be gauranteed a good runner well serviced and will do you for a long while yet!! The you can treat your wife to a nice meal out with the savings and earn even more brownie points!
  8. You don't, you just stack it on top and it magically ends up in there!!!
  9. Your on about the auger torque at cheltenham machine, we've got the post auger to go on our telehandler. Great bit of kit, incredible what it'll drag out the hole, and will go through 6inch concrete!
  10. Shamefully that doesn't surprise me one bit!!!
  11. Yep same here with washing machine. Who do manufacturers think they kidding?
  12. Right This may seem an odd question for this forum, but i'm sure somebody will be able to give me an answer! Why is it the 'eco' program on our smeg dishwasher is about hour and an half longer than any other program on it??? It still washes at 70degree's like the other full wash programs. How does that make it eco?
  13. well if spud fancies porting my 880 then you can try that in your sunday races! Bigger sprocket, the spud works and she'd cut like a hot knife through melted butter!!!
  14. When i win the lottery, this will be on order!!!! I would love one! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dj1qGs0OvBo]Fast Tracked Vehicle. www.howeandhowe.com - YouTube[/ame]
  15. Hypertherm Powermax 45..........but u'll need a good 32amp single phase supply and a good compressor to go behind it. Probably not cheap but very good quality. As for the multi-use ones, didn't know they exsisted even so can't comment, but seeing as its all electronics in a box these days they're probably fine.
  16. Jonanthan Just tried sending you a PM but its seems you very popular and its full! You can guess what i'm after i'm sure! Cheers Muchly Mike
  17. I hear what your saying peteb, and your are quite right in what you say. But at some point when the price setter in the dealership see's the price of something, he must think 'crikes were never gonna sell any of those at that price, can i source it cheaper else where?' Our main new holland dealer isn't the cheapest for parts or probably new machinery, but I know when i ring them up at 4pm on sunday afternoon and say please come and fix it they'll be there and more than likely they have the parts to fix it. But I also know they do shop around for better deals, doesn't always make them the most popular with manufacturers I suspect, but they do a very good job in a tough market. Not everybody can get it right all the time, but sometimes common sense needs to prevail when prices are set!!!
  18. Thats sounds like one hell of an idea!!!! Sure there'll be some good suggestions!
  19. Thats the kind of saw bench i want!! But trying to find a blade that big seems impossible these days! Some more pics please!
  20. I thought £350 odd for a replacement rad for the 200hp engine on our slurry pumps was a rip off, but incomparison to yours it was cheap!
  21. I know this feeling all to often!!! Its complete nonsense really, who do they actually think is actually going to buy that bolt for £22??? We had a valve chest on our loading shovel split wide open, off the machine dealer £5230+vat, from hydraulic supermarket £2430+vat.........apparently its because the exact valve gets shipped halfway around the world from the uk back to the uk again same as you had everybody putting their bit on. Thats why you buy british i guess if possible.......
  22. Brother in law's got a woodmizer, not sure of the model, but he'd definately describe it as moody...... i've heard the expression "like a woman with bad PMT" mentioned around it on occasion. But as he says, there ain't a lot of choice when you compare £ for £ as the market is sort of limited in the UK. Guess he wouldn't do an awful lot with it compared to some people.
  23. I think your pushing the definition of the term tree "surgery" with this video!
  24. only one person makes money on fuel, and thats the bloke with the rights to the land they pump it from under!!! and the tax man i guess!
