  1. Not your bi-ceps lads. I've seen there is a fair few shooter on here so thought we might benefit from a picture thread. Also anything game wise you fancy, I'm not fussed. Ill kick off the runnings. And what it does...
  2. Did you know that GLEE spelt backwards is S**T. I would rather eat my own face than watch that. Sam.
  3. To be honest you will be lucky to get shooting for free, most farmers have woken up to the extra money they can make via shooting rights. Make sure you have public liability Insurance form BASC or similar, and demonstrate complete respect to their property crops/stocks and you might just find somewhere. Good luck mate, and remember to practice lots and keep it small, nowt bigger than a rabbit with a pellet gun Sam
  4. Yup commercial looking like a good bet Oh the bright lights of EvilBay are calling. Nice rig mate, smart trailer too. Sam
  5. Ouch! Looks like a mini, if my feet fit on the pedals! Sam
  6. Me and a mate are looking at doing it 2012 with luck. Hoping to take a defender but not sure if thats allowed. I wish you lots of luck, but not being a firm i cant help with the sponsorship end Atb Samm

  8. Nope. To low & regular for roe, its also the wrong time for stripping Me to, or maybe Hare. Sam
  9. Odd one this. Has anyone lined a three door series 1? Im thinking of buying one with the back seats, then plying up the floor. Making the back footwells into storage cupboards accessible from the top, obviously taking out the seats. But possibly leaving in the fold down boot seats. thats the basics, a couple of extras would be added, a shelf behind the seats for a rifle, lots of storage space etc. for overlanding. Problems being; 1. I don't have a vehicle to look and plan round. 2. I haven't seen this sort of thing done before. 3. Don't know if it can be done. If you've done it/seen it/heard of it. I would much appreciate any info, especially photos, that you might have. Cheers Sam

  16. For me, dogs are great for cross-cutting. But for felling/snedding/brashing they come right off, just think that they get in the way. Never put them on my 346, but I have the in the toolbox just in case. Sam

  20. Has anyone any experience of the above? Sick and tired of the standard Husky/Stihl orange and white leather that rip, are cold, uncomfortable etc. These looked like a good alternative if a little more expensive, but if they last twice as long/are twice as good, then who cares? Oh, and wheres the cheapest place? Clark forest have them for £32. Timberland ProTimber Chainsaw Gloves | Clark Forest : Chainsaw Clothing Atb & Thanks Sam

  23. Not quite... the only people GBA make for other than themselves is Ray Mears. Wetterlings makea reasonable axe. But its not comparable to Cegga,GBA, Snow & Nealley. I own a GBA Forest axe, a Snow & Nealley Hudson bay and a Wetterlings Swedish Forest Axe. Out of the three the Snow & Nealley is the best. However they are impossible to get hold of in this country, IME, and I only managed to get mine via a Canadian friend. Second is the GBA, an a good length behind is Wetterlings. If I could afford it, a Cegga is the way forward Sam

  25. When its turned off, as well as when its running. Sam
