  1. Sounds like you are though. But you are from Somerset, so its allowed.
  2. If it cant cope with getting dropped will it cope when it counts? Just a thought
  3. Woah. That is impressive Sam
  4. Just read you signatures "JammyShoddyTreeServices". Whoops!
  5. I do not infer you are stupid. I do not infer anything. Its hardly saying that your stupid is it? I wouldn't trust lots of very clever people with chainsaws I don't really want to get into the "my willy is bigger than yours" debate, I dropped that when I was about ten. But I will say that I had worked in such dangerous, manly, testosterone filled enviroments where then I wouldnt rise to it. But there you go. What do I know. Sambo.
  6. Sorry if my views dont tie in with yours, but thats just how I see it. Unless otherwise informed I think that people have 0 knowledge in whatever area. You soon learn whether or not they have, and move from there. Thats the way I was taught to work in business and it does me grand.
  7. I only trust 2 people. One of them is me, and your not the other one, comes to mind. Again, seen/heard of too many stupid incidents of the GP buggering themselves to trust folk without experiencing them myself. The same for "tree men" too. Sam
  8. Thats the brown stuff falling out of a cows arse. If you've worked in an office till you were 30, then decide they wanna farm/cut trees/keeper a shoot/put fences in etc. and they put their mind to it they'll do it. I've seen it happen enough times. I've always worked since I was 13 or so. I've done manual work on farms, stacking wood etc. Then when I was 15 I wised up. I had a constant supply of something people wanted. I had game. I set to work selling pheasants, rabbits, venison, partridge ducks and geese to the teachers, cleaners, dinner ladies and mates mums at school. Soon I realised that I was too cheap. £2 a pheasant from me, or £6 from the butcher. My Pheasants went up, £4 a bird. I stopped dressing and plucking them myself and instead bought them wholesale from a gamedealer friend dressed and cellophaned and on a plastic tray for £1 a bird. More people bought them because they looked more professional. I was selling £100 - £150 worth a week in the winter. Then I left school If you want to do it enough you will do it, even if it is just a sunday with the bird and some cash Sam
  9. Nice one mate (Y) I cant make it down, but have a great day! Hope you enjoy fartherhood Sam
  10. Looks like a really interesting place to work. What do you do there? Sam
  11. The question, is more how we ever survived without knowing this priceless nugget of trivia Sam
  12. Ill vouch for that, he didn't make it up! Depends on what your deer are as to how they browse though, havent got time for a proper reply, but I'll try later Sam
  13. I bet its a brilliant musket mate. But by god its ugly! Sam
  14. Smart bit of kit. Any pics of the tractor mate? Cheers, Sam
  15. Could be decent for brashing too... Sam
  16. I do not buy fish. We haven't for a while now, but we can get away with that because we fish (and a lot of mates do to). My uncle is part time scallop diver, but doesn't sell them, and we are kept in all kinds of shellfish by him. If you want "fair" fish, and you live by the sea/are by the sea then go to the day boats (That you hire and go fishing on) and ask if they have anything. For a few quid (occasionally free) you can pick up some lovely fish. Failing that, buy a spinning rod Sam
