  1. Just passed the driving test, happy days. Felt ready to drink a pint of gin by the end of it though, talk about stressful
  2. Done a bit, double bit, when I was into bows and arrows and things. Try underarm for a bit of fun, its harder than over. I just used to walk round lobbing them into dead standing stuff, was great fun. Get kids doing it, they love it.
  3. The problem is its a sub 60cc Stihl
  4. Jas P would be my best bet, he sells everything else.
  5. Cool job
  6. Indeed it is. I wouldn't play like that in the woods The Fozzy gets in new logs every year, they last a term, then the first years learn to cross cut them the second year
  7. Just a couple, I need to remember to take the camera out on site more!
  8. I'll give them a bell tomorrow, cheers mate.
  9. Cool stuff. You mate in the hammock (other vid) is both mental and a legend!
  10. Not the most impressive ad. You get out what you put in
  11. Just quoted me six grand :sad:Hey ho.
  12. That attitude really gets my back up
  13. Its very good of you to commit your time to teaching the great unwashed of the tree world what mushrooms are what. Its been really handy for me (especially on my phone). Keep up the good work
  14. Make sure (as above) you have trousers, ear/eye protection (the chances of something dropping on your head are small) and foot gear (either proper boots or the gaiters) AND WEAR THEM. As far as courses go I am useless, unless you do the CS30 training but dont bother with the exam, I know you can do that. All the best, Sam
  15. Sorry to hear that chief. It's like loosing a relative when they are that close.
  16. PM Sent, I should be charging for this shirt
  17. Who do we think is cheapest for insuring a van for personal use and travel to work? Looking at a '52 plate Escort Van if that makes any difference Aviva quoted £1500 fully comp and thats the cheapest so far (18yo driver) Cheers
  18. Go slow and think everything your doing through, you wont fail on speed.
  19. Yeah, I know a boy who used an ex foreces M16 for a while for that...
  20. Oh yeah, but its hilarious
  21. I'm close and spend a fair bit of time there, its nice (not that thats what you asked)
  22. Depends what your doing. The FC boys used Browning BAR .270s for ages and a lot of the old guys liked them on roe. A semi auto is very good for foxing, especially on the lamp, but for stalking it offers only a little advantage to the B/A, and the problems of jamming, accuracy and whatever... but they are quick, which is always handy. Horses for courses, if they were legal I would have one in .223 for foxes, but my deer gun will always be a bolt/lever gun. Krico is fast, M14 straight pull conversions are rapid too. When you know where your to a bolt gun fairly flies. Sam
