  1. Cheers for the replies guys. I think that anything that adds to the public image in a positive light is a good thing. However having gone through the website looking at their benefits I think that it could be really beneficial to me, and open a fair few doors. I think Smallwoods, RFS and the AA will all be getting subscriptions soon Thanks
  2. What do people think about membership to the likes of the AA, RFS etc.? Wondering about joining, but other than being able to pub RFS Member or whatever after my name I'm a bit stumped as to why. Cheers
  3. 28th - 30th this year. Poleclimbing and lots of other lumberjack like things, at the Kinmel estate (cracking place) in North Wales. I am, but not sure which days Woodfest Wales, Kinmel Estate, St George
  4. It looks really smart. If I owned a mill and was churning stuff out I would certainly be using it!
  5. Not sure what's worse for Osama: the fact he got found and killed, or that he now has to explain to a bunch of suicide bombers where their virgins are.
  6. Lamp hard. Get some (decent, trustworthy) long dog men on it. Fence where you can.
  7. In this sort of situation, I like to ponder "What would John Wayne do?" Big Stick.
  8. George Bush is called... George, which would fit It does seem a little racist from the outside, but maybe there is a joke I don't get.
  9. Coming soon to android... boooo, would be nice to have it now.
  10. Stand corrected. My latin gets worse by the day!
  11. Cheers for that chief Think I might just be looking at them now though!
  12. Cheers pal, I'll look into that a bit more, raid the library for some old books
  13. I've eaten it before Can you expand a bit? I don't want to go topping myself for a good bacon compliment!
  14. Is this in the bark? Or a notch cut out of the stem? Not heard of this before, always looking to learn and all that
  15. Thats pretty cool. It never ceases to amaze me how often people "label" trees, and how happy the trees seem to be to disregard what we think. Oh, and for the record the quakers are Mandarins (Galericulat Aix?)
  16. I agree that we should be guilt free chopping down most trees. If we are chopping and replanting everything other than veterans then we will surely run out of them at some point? Even the best protected stuff will go eventually
  17. And by filling up before the protest you are defeating the object:001_smile:
  18. Second hand, but Im told a brand new mini was £500ish
  19. They will carry on. The people we are fighting are kings in their terrain. Men who can make identical, perfect, copies of Kalashnikov rifles in caves. The Arab-Muslims, and the mongols both tried and failed. We first went into Afghanistan in 1839 (If my memory serves me correctly, not that I was there) we went in again before the century turned, we withdrew both times. The USSR tried later. No one has truly "beaten" those people in a history of conflict, America has little hope. The purpose of terrorism is to terrorise. If we do not fear them, they have not won.
  20. Makes you wonder doesn't it. Are you based at Hales?
