Eucalyptus trees as they are evergreen have sometimes got twisted branches from torsion you will see this some times on the stem or scaffold branches i would say avoid these areas for main line .Once i was taking one down on spikes that was badly twisted and it made a hell of a noise as it let the presure out.

  5. Just wondered what cameras people on here use for tree s fungi bats etc. I have a couple i have been looking at the nikon d3100 or pentax kr or possibley one of the sony alpha range.This would be my first camera so only going to be spending £400.

  7. I use the 3120xp its a great saw and once you have the bigest you can rest easy knowing you can handle the monster jobs.You can get a smaller oregon bar 24 inch makes it a little lighter we use a 34 as well:thumbup:

  11. Hi hama i will be coming to the fungi event on sunday do i need to bring some cash i thought some one said about a fee for this one just wondered how much . I will bring my stove and some tea bags milk etc cheers

  12. rake level lay the turf then roll is the way i do it but every one is different i work for a large landscaping company as there tree surgeon but go out with the landscapers from time to time they are very fast and use this method hope this helps:001_smile:

  17. I use marlow areis i used to climb on marlow geko its weid because the 13 looks like a bull rope now and i love the 11

Hi i have a pair of no risk boots very cheap they are over a year old and are still in great condition they have vibram soles which are good also sips on the front with laces which is nice when you want to get them of quick at the end of a working day .The best part is the cork foot bed it makes them comfy like a pair of trainers.

  23. I use the guides on my 346 and 3120 XP when Im at the yard but on site i do it by eye for speed .
