hi paul things are a bit busy trying to finish off a bit of a training centre. If you are going to go for council contracts then they some times like to see you have it.

The unit is mainly for contractors that are doing a lot of parks and formal gardens if you have a bit of time some time you can come along and watch what the course and assessment requires it will give you a bit of training without putting your hand in your pocket.

Cs 41 is only worth doing when you have had a bit of air time it depends on what you are looking at doing with all of the units you have.

I run a play day once in a while it gives you a chance to try something and also have access to a few trainers and assessors to ask lots of questions and try out a few things..

well i will bugger off now there is a list of dates on the webb page and the play day is normally put on the facebook page.

cheers phill

Hi sam yes i did sorry but have a memory like a fish i will try to send them off at the end of the week i am running a climbing course this week so wont be home till friday.

How are you are you keeping well and working hard.

 17. If you inform the trainer when you take the course then they should allow for it and give you plenty of time. They can even change the screen settings if you have an issue with letter colours. There is normally a way to make things easier during the test.
 18.
Hi paul if there are any tickets you are after and they are on my webb page then let me know and i will fit you onto a course all you will need to pay for is the assessment call it a resettlement present look for lowe-maintenance training it should pop up

 19. So far its doing well i use it for training courses so the cradle protects the casing and exhaust it can be a bit fast but set on slow means it does not rush the man controlling the load. I tried another type that a friend has and it seamed a little unstable and i don't think it would take the miss use you get with trainees. Plus billy at cyclone is a very helpful bloke
 20. The winch i have has a one ton straight pull and seams a bit more robust also is housed in a cradle to protect engine parts. I have used the pro climber winch and found it good but a little wobbly to use and was a bit nervous of it falling over and damaging bits of casing. That is why i looked at cyclone it looks as if it will last in the hands of trainees. Also billy at cyclone is very help full.
 21. Thanks for the info I'll be using two other people (one on the winch and one directing the load) Cheers
 22. Hi gents i have just received my new winch from cyclone winches of north Yorkshire. Its a petrol driven capstan for the extraction courses I am going to be running. Has anybody got one of these yet. They are a bit more robust then the pro climber winch and a little cheaper. I was wondering how many are out there I the arb community. Also any problems.
 23. Hi guys just to let you know you can get a jacket now which helps boil faster and makes it easier to pick up
 24. Hi i use a lot but only in the training context the sites i use require that i mark out the site as it should be and also its so that candidates get to see a properly marked site. All of the felling, handling, spraying and also gassing as there is now a requirement for qualified operators for gassing compounds. I get asked if i can prep a forest pack at times. There is a lot of footpaths in the dales so a very definite requirement for signs.
 25. Hi Danny no problem on the extraction site i have a few others that i can use. The number for Dan nelson is 01729823523 nelsons footwear he will have an answer. If you are in settle pop next door to look at the new training center. I am sure to be in painting something. merry Christmas to you and your girlfriend.
