  1. "make it look nice" me "it looks nice as it Is." "make it more Tree like" Ends up becoming a mister men tree that I think looks shite but Boss and customer are pleased. Some days I work with idiots. Mostly I can get the customer to agree to the right thing. One Boss really a gardener says to me how Tree workers think they are something special and doing minimal reductions are pointless and not good value for money. I tried explaining water sprouts looks unnatural. He will never get it
  2. I kinda like that. Who's going to want to borrow it.

  6. Don't take it now 61ft long legs could be a problem hehe
  7. Some old man answers. Drug and/or drink at work is not a good combination. But suggesting that people can't do what they want in their own time or talking about drug users as if they are all scum is ridiculous and an answer I'd expect to here from someone who has had no experience in the real world. The lack of knowledge is rather clear different drugs have different effects I think your not in a position to say much on drugs if you have no experience third party or first hand. I used to smoke a bit of puff from time to time with no ill effect but some bloody funny memories. But I could smoke and be fine the next day and be alert and work hard, as long as I did these things in moderation like alcohol. so I dont think all drugs are bad. Just they need moderation! saying 'drugs' to cover weed heroin cocaine alcohol is silly they all have very different effects and need to be spoken for individually for that reason. I'd rather a day with a stoned guy over a coke head or a guy trashed on alcohol. By the way I'm not an advocate for drugs just freedom to do what you want just think about how you might effect others and don't introduce others into these things let people make their Own choices. I personally haven't smoked in well over a year and seldomly drink it's not for me, rather buy climbing gear our work on my motorbikes
  8. Vt is the best knot I learnt
  9. No ticket is a legal requirement only really there to gauge ability and for insurance purposes. but I'd suggest getting the cs30 and 31 as they teach you a lot and a good trainer can make a good cutter. And give you enough of an idea to work out the safe way to approach things with out just trying to scare you.
  10. fishermans? look at the knot guide.
  11. I did try with a distel on top wasn't to keen kpet to just vt I find It is fine as long as you tie and dress it correctly. Very impressed with how a much easier life is with a hc
  12. I was messing about with Blake's hitch for a few months then bought a hitch climber and went vt and I wouldn't go back. Now to learn srt
  13. After a new harness been using a sit worker, really like it minus the fixed anchor point so thought I'd go for another singing rock but timber 2 really want a sliding bridge anybody used a timber 2 more interested in the movement side of things. if the build quality of my harness is of the same quality I'm sure I'll be impressed same as comfort. Few other things I'm a new climber started on Blake's wasn't impressed with that so went hc and a vt what a huge improvement. All self taught from knot guide practiced and watched numerous vids and other climbers I'm doing well enough to be taken by a different firm to be trained. so thanks arbtalkers
  14. I would but in comparison to two o. Krabs and a hc I think the price is a tad high don't really have 80 to loose. Otherwise I would have bought one, i think it will get a few laughs.

I'm looking at working as a groundie i consider myself to be a particularly hard worker, i'm happy to work any hours im asked to work. I just need a chance to prove myself as a worker as i have nothing of particular interest in the paper side. Also i'm finding it hard to even be given a chance due to my age and the general thought of young people being lazy. Can anyone help me? Many Thanks.
