  2. I think as well back when the anti fur movement was in full swing there were so many horrific images of animal cruelty coming out of these fur farms a lot of people reacted without thinking of long term effects, just rather alleviate short term suffering Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. Yep, I can totally see your point, but this is a completely man made problem (by furriers, consumers and A L F), and yes mink are pretty destructive, but they can co exist in smaller numbers, like any predator they are just trying to get on Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. No it's the idiots that wanted to wear their pelts who are to blame. IMO Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  6. Most agri contractors I know in Somerset are charging 250/300 a day with tractor or telehandler,so even with three men with three different machines a grand a day would be tops, so fair play. How often do your forwarding trailers and tee handlers go out on supermarket/ garage jobs? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  22. building is about 200yrds away, if you look really closely at the first pic you can see a hair line crack runnin about half way across trunk, I would be very wary about putting a saw into it, reckon a gentle tug ll be all it needs
  23. went to price this beech today, customer said on phone it had a slight split in th trunk, I think its slightly worse than that! due there a week Monday to fell it, but I will be amazed if its still standing, gonna put winch cable up high (with a throw line! don't think anyone would climb that), drop the ground anchor and tear it out. anyone got a preferable alternative?
