  1. I'm slippery, teapot, kettle, and blackarse.
  2. Bear with me, I'll dig it out.
  3. What's it matter to you, how often are you working around Mac? @BigRon I'll PM you a number for a lad that might be able to help.
  4. Owners and trainers put many thousands of pounds into horses and dogs, do you honestly think they want to see them die? Or should horse and dog racing just be banned?
  5. Fake news! Do your homework before you post such nonsense, two horses died during the GN. The other two died at the same meeting, not in the National! Do you want us to ban National Hunt meetings? I was on Eclair Surf by the way. It's been all over MSM, shocking that you and I know all about it really. Get it right or wind it in.
  6. I did a stint in Ulverston about 30 years ago at the YMCA, (no pop group gags needed). Nice place, but I don't know if work would come easy.
  7. Clients, and must be VAT registered! They are customers, not clients, and there is plenty of work for those who aren't VAT registered. Plenty of one/two man bands stay under the VAT threshold and make a decent living.
  8. Crack on with that, I wouldn't have the place give to me. I might try Penkridge for a few weeks, a few folk I know are pulled over there.
  9. As you say, it's each to their own. For me the coast doesn't fit, it's got no appeal for me. I've no interest in living in a town either, and most of the places I pull are out in the sticks. The problem I have with Northumberland is I might bump into folk like Bolam...
  10. Being next to the sea isn't for me, the countryside suits me much better. I'm in the Staffs Moorlands right now which is lovely, just fancy a move.
  11. The ones I met never done me any harm.
  12. Now, that's a good call. Full of weirdos, but I enjoyed staying there when I had my narrow boat. I'll look for a camp up there.
  13. I'm not sure Mr Johnson would have me in his yard.
  14. I've never been to Northumberland or Dorset, I like South Cheshire a lot, and there is a great campsite next to the canal I could pull onto. It's in the running.
  15. That's off the list then.
  16. That's the thing mate, I'm not after time out, I will need somewhere to live, which I will find. Trying to find work up there might be a problem? I don't know much about Wales apart from going to Prestatyn on holiday as a kid.
  17. Ya fancy it up there then Les? I don't know if work would come easy.
  18. You never know ya luck Gary, I might be at yours in the next week or two...
  19. Kind offer Bolam, I know where Hamstreet is...
  20. Are they good cooked in white wine too, dead prostitutes? It wouldn't surprise me if he knows the answer.
  21. Where would you go (in the UK) if you hadn't got a care in the world? Our kid is heading back to Australia, t'other one is in Tenerife more than he's here, so it's time for a move, but where to? I'll get work wherever I go, so that doesn't bother me. Where would you go if you were free to do what you wanted?
  22. No examples needed, at least BC pretended to represent the working man! Phone call incoming.
