  1. Back to being serious, I'm staggered that they can single it down to an extended family... look at the size of the place! I didn't realise it's the biggest works in Europe.
  2. I believe that's how it started...
  3. I was reading about this earlier, it's now been found at two shit works in London one of them being Beckton, one of the biggest works in the country. From what I've read it's believed to have come from an extended family... how they know that I don't know.
  4. Any ideas on this one?
  5. Sensible option the 600 bandit, those Triumphs are lethal especially if you're a short arse like me. I just ain't got the weight and strength to throw them about.
  6. Nah, it's my mates, the lad in the picture. He'd just got back from buying it, he's got the older 900 Speed Triple for sale.
  7. Pikeys.
  8. It's a beast.

    Chip

Anyone do 3-4 loads of chip into Staffordshire ST8 postcode, beer tokens available.
  10. Less is more🤣
  11. I have spent last few years with 4-8wks work on the books all the time. It has dropped off massively since April. Got 2wks work booked in now and phones/enquiries gone quiet. Most of my work is domestic arb. However hedge season is coming up so all my regulars will be in touch but I think it's tough times ahead. Strange ain't it, with moving recently I've poked my nose in all over the place to see what's about, everyone I speak to is busy and can't find decent lads.
  12. What makes you say it's tough times setting up your own gig? I relocated last November and work is plentiful, most of it is contracting but there is definitely a market here to go it alone.
  13. I thought it was 12 years, but could well be mistaken? When I lived in Suffolkshire my neighbour grabbed a bit of land next to his bungalow, if he could get it passed as a plot it would be £150k plus, it's doubtful though, no new houses have been built in the village since God was a boy.

  15. He just looks like trouble.
  16. We'll probably take more than we are sending under the deal we have. The bill is on the Gov website.
  17. He'll be telling us next that there isn't an exchange deal going on with Rwanda's refuges, they will be sending as many of their most vulnerable refuges over here as we will be sending over there..
  18. Only a few weeks ago you suggested you might move here if the SNP carried on with their ways. Make ya mind up before I find the post where you said it.
  19. Lots of us don't have the protection of contracts, most of my contracting work is organised on the phone, if someone wanted to bin me I wouldn't have a leg to stand on. I'd guess lots of jobbing arborists are in the same boat? All together different if you (I) are working for a big firm.
  20. No flight to Rwanda then, shocking!
  21. Marcus, my boy, it's a horrible situation to be in, it will move over mind. I totally get what you are saying about summing the interest to do things, it's one of them fella. It will pass.
  22. I was set up for it to tell you the truth, seems I was only one who wasn't aware he is here, not ten minutes after we turned up another three old mates turned up, good day was had without getting hammered.
  23. Got a phone call from a mate who I don't see very often these days, he was going to be in the area today and did I fancy going out lunchtime, I don't need asking twice, so away we went. When we got there a lad we kicked about with back in the day was in the pub, he is over from Oz, first time I've seen him since he emigrated 26 years.
  24. First flight to Rwanda on Tuesday for asylum seekers then, if it doesn't get appealed on Monday.
  25. It was known as John Wayne toilet roll where I went to school, rough, tough and don't take shit from Indians.
