  1. Marieanne Faithful, what a singer. Did well to get into her late.70's considering the.abuse she gave herself back in the day, Rip.
  2. This is wrong on every level.
  3. @Ian C is further north (not alot) than Huddesfield, might be worth pinging him a message see if he knows anyone in your area.
  4. Good luck fella, i worked in traffic when I first started on the roads and it's hard graft so you've got that side sorted. Not many young lads save to better themselves, fast cars and fast women usually come first, or should I say they did for me. As said above, ring every tree company in your chosen area I'm sure someone will give you a start with your attitude.
  5. I was in Sudbury for a funeral last year, twas pretty much the same as when I left, Bury was thriving even on a week day. I spoke to a mate in Bacton yesterday, he said Stow had seen better days. The difference is, I'd walk around any of those towns at night, I wouldn't walk around the towns in Stoke at night.
  6. Compared with the towns in Stoke Ipswich is paradise, I kid you not.
  7. Nah, Ipswich is for you special folk. I'll be between Bury and Stow.
  8. It'll be flying bud, thank ya.
  9. Yep, I like Suffolk. Work here hasn't been a problem, in fact it's a good number I'm leaving behind, it's not for everyone but it pays well.
  10. Me and the ex Mrs had a bungalow just outside Sudbury in Suffolk, she bought me out when we split up.
  11. That went a good while back mate.
  12. We are halves on it, he lives there I've still got my investment.
  13. Mainly, although i tend to use Leek or Ashbourne which are both fair market towns. This plot came up in Suffolk and I can drop straight back on pump work with a couple of companies I used to sub for down there.
  14. Yep still in my camper, I've also still got my caravan.
  15. Isn't that hit and miss fencing?
  16. That's it done. I'm back down to East Anglia, I've never settled back up here in the North Midlands so I'm off back to where I've always felt most settled, got myself a plot down a quiet country lane but not far away from a decent town, I can't look at the deprivation anymore, just in time for Spring, happy days.
  17. Should be going upto Bury to recover a Luton van, might slip off the.M6 before Thelwall and slink back througjh the Cheshire countryside if it's blowing a good'en
  18. The truth is, I don't know if it's a part of the canal network, if it is its not like any feeder channel I've seen before, perhaps @Canal Navvy could shine some light on it. The fella who posted the original picture suggested it could possibly Longleat estate?
  19. Makes sense, do you think the two wooden posts behind the brickwork in the left hand channel would be part of the structure to accommodate drop/stop boards?
  20. Unfortunately all the information I've got, not even a rough location on this one.
  21. Sound explanation, could it also be a Leat for a water mill or similar, or even some sort of fish holding pound? I agree, there would be some sort of drop/stop boards needed.
  22. Anyone, the structure, not the tree.
  23. Skin heads dancing the moon stomp outside The.last Resort on Pettycoat Lane.
