  1. The plot I rent in Suffolk is passed for residential which means I have to pay the lowest Council tax, band A. If my bins aren't emptied for two weeks due to staff illness and vehicle breakdowns should I withhold that 2 weeks Council tax or suck it up? I've not seen a copper, or road sweeper/maintenance person since I've been back down here. There is no, zero streetlights in the village. If I am being a Karen can someone tell me what I'm paying for?
  2. Looking at that second picture again makes me somewhat annoyed/sad. Those glorious buildings in the background have been left empty in disrepair for years
  3. Went a mooch around the mother town of Stoke on Trent today to see the unveiling of the statue, not a massive crowd when I was there but the pubs were full of folk who had come fron all over Europe.
  4. The most elusive tool in most tool kits.
  5. It's construction, CIS however we would like to look at it.
  6. They set out as a punk band in the late 70's called The Toilets. RIP.
  7. ... with a political taint. 472K views · 7.7K reactions | TikTok laurascott127 | By Laura Scott |... WWW.FACEBOOK.COM
  8. Impossible to answer without running diagnostics, find a garage that have Forscan equipment.
  9. Thanks for the advice. I'm installing it in a loft room so I'll be gluing down, I've already lost 50mm headroom by insulating the floor.
  10. This will be under LVT, am I right in thinking that there are wooden boards between the heating and the flooring?
  11. Anyone got this, if so what wattage per square metre do you have? It looks straightforward enough to install. Any help much appreciated.
  12. Wonder what it would cost to get the land and put a track in. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/property/gallery/gorgeous-canalside-cottage-sale-under-31434359?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwY2xjawJySbNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHppDuuYBuDsvQZNPMtfxxyYq2b73imdX8pld9ymhOZ-i4xbjx7zTWZu2X_nH_aem_f7EYnUAV--PtJm_-IbL83g#Echobox=1745037931
  13. Many a true word said in jest.
  14. Yeah, read all about it. I've said from when I first joined this parish we would come to regret closing down all our mines. Many weren't viable bur there were plenty that could have still being worked today that could power our industry.
  15. Raw materials is the problem apparently, they can't get coal for the furnaces at the right price, funny that...
  16. Haha, I bought a knitted top that weighed a ton in the 90's, never took it of in clubs even if I was sweating my balls of for fear of some scally choring it. Where did the years go...
  17. Didn't get this far before I posted.
  18. Scunthorpe steel works, the government look to be taking control of the site from its Chinese owners who say its making a loss of £700k everyday. Your thoughts?
  19. How's tricks Rich, longtime no speak. Spot on as usual, no self respecting hooligan would be seen out without his badge on show back in the day.
  20. I've had two of these v-twins, the only starting issues I've had with them is carb related. I used to take them to an old boy who's work was garden machinery, he could have the carb off, cleaned and back running in half hour. they really don't like stale fuel.
  21. Unfortunately life isn't fair, never mind van insurance, my multi vehicle policy that also covers my caravan went down this year. That said, I bought and sold a little van recently, the same vehicle with 5 seats, and windows in the back would cost £30 to tax, 2 seats, no windows in the back £300-odd, how's that work?
  22. Anything added/taken out of a vehicle after it left the factory is a mod, if you tell your insurance, or not, is your business. Just don't have an accident if you don't
