    Laying turf

    I was meant to seed the lawn last year but it was so wet and I couldn't get on it . It's had a day of rotovating I would have thought it would need spraying again. That's good I wasn't so far out I think I'm going to put 3 days on plus a few hours for spraying it Thanks a lot people

  12. I brought a paslode im350 for featheredge fencing and god I wish I had brought it earlier its amazing ! The only thing is that you have to set it to flush on as if it on deep it would just split the boards On another note does any body have trouble with the nails staining and streaking the wood a few weeks later ?     Laying turf

    Evening I went to look at a job tonight and the client would like 440sq of turf layed no access for large equipment . I've layed lawns before but not this big would I be right in thinking 2 days 2 guys to rotovate and level area , then 4 days with 2 on each day to lay lawn .   17. I've never gone through the gas but water and Virgin! ! I alway thought there was a minimum for services below ground ! Last time virgin came out he said it was cheaper to repair than dig it down every time , Please let us know the out come

  20. Afternoon working on a job doing posts with 3 strans of straining wire and straing post all posts 3-4" it's through a woodland all posts bonked in by hand , with 2 blokes on site 8 hour day may question how far should we be doing a day ? Ta muchly bk
  21. How do people store strimmers and long reach hedge cutters,all the long stuff really I've got mine stood upright but ( engine on floor ) but don't think it's good to store them like it and ideas welcome cheers bk
  22. I'm in the same boat truck head just gone starter motor went a month ago and now what todo, got to spend the money to fix her as she just worth scrap value at the moment then just keep on driving her whilst at the same time saving for a 2nd truck , hey ho work time chin up

  24. I use post Crete as its so quick ! I buy in build from the major DIY store , but I hardly ever put just 2 bags in as I'm normally reerecting Pannel fencing ! And I'm having to take out the old concrete to put new in ! Any ideas on how I can use less are appreciated !
