  2. We are struggling to get rid of all logs from tree surgery and are looking for tip sites for mixed unprocessed logs Kingston upon Thames, up and down the a3, anywhere local Anyone interested ?
  3. The walled garden had very recently been replanted with many of the original species, don't think there were any mature trees in there, this was further up the hill on the boundary

  13. Hornbeam from the garden Are the petioles longer on the original. Hard to tell on the phone
  14. Leaf doesn't look serrated/toothy/ridged enough for hornbeam to me, I'd go for Acer davidii or similar but the leaves do look alternate. any more close ups of anything ?
  15. Like it, How you gonna stop it from going slimy though ? Hate to be a killjoy but is there an easy way out ? wouldn't want any kids passing by to be temped and get stuck. Nice work though pretty jealous.
  16. One of the boys at work has just upgraded to a fancy £40 one after using a cheap one for several months, he gets on well with them and now reckons he prefers it to a proper fag. I've had a few blasts on it and can see how it stops you craving, almost made me want to start again.

  20. Any idea what they're like to re sharpen and hiw often the cutters need replacing? I know it depends on how bad you smash them up but with normal soil conditions do they last ?
  21. Our dan equip will do 27" I think so ok on a straight run but not so hot round corners, have taken it through a few but we get the odd house that's too teeny windy or steppy
  22. We'll probably get a dedicated power unit, why does it need a different mix ?

Had a couple of through the house jobs lately where we haven't been able to get our dan equip grinder in so was wondering if anyone has experience of these http://www.alpinemagnum.com/ or similar . I've not been able to have a proper look on the laptop yet but from memory they had a kind of disk to do the cutting and was worried we'd smash the grannie out of it going through the rubble and general poo you get buried in towns and suburbia.
