  1. static removable false crotch. pull a bight from the standing part of the rigging line through a crotch with a throwline. installa block on this line with the rotating sheave on the rigging line. tie off a static line to the fixed sheave, leaving a long tail tied into a large loop around the working and running ends of the rigging line. pull the two ends of the rigging line to draw the loop up to the crotch and chokerhitch the block into place. hope this makes sence:confused1:

  5. looks like a cross between a distel and a knut to me, only prob i can see is it looks like you might have a presher point where the leg that comes in the bottem of the raps goes under the other leg. is the ocean polyester rope? how do you get on with it?

  9. hi can any one suggest a descender for twin/dual lining Samson Arbormaster 13mm maybe somthing like the petzl reversino but bigger???
  10. I would love to get one of these again any one know where?? I agree the old harnesses were rock hard they seem to be built to last and not to be comfy, ideal for sitting on top of a hedge all day, i'll be ripped to shreds but the old girl never gets caught up or worn out.
  11. its ok i have a padded bra so those traps cant get me. the ninjas im a bit worred about but we can use the half a pack of custard creams to bribe them, its all about team work

  13. i got one of these i love it but its old and i try not to use kit to destruction as it might hurt, maybe called pro2000 or is that a deferent one, do thy still make them??? i love it
  14. i think there fine to use even up tree i can check fuel levels easly only gripe is that on a couple of occasions when working on leylandii the cap catches flips out then slaps off thus making the saw unusable.

  17. hi all just after some thorts, i am a climber that works for a few diferent companies and i like to where my own comfortable clothes as normallythey just suppy manky old jumpers and t's or nothing. i wont to get my own cloths printed up to show what i am, but because im working for different people i cant have specific advertising what would be acceptable to have written on it????

  20. i use 13mm as i find the thinner to hard to hold and makes my hands sore
  21. A Play day in Sussex then im thinking, any one got a good tree? as my apple might not hold up to well
  22. well climbing alone is allways dodgy where abouts are you? says east sussex im on the west side, maybe meet up for a play
  23. iv not hurd of this show befor can you enlighten me please? will there be a chance to have a play up some trees. would be nice to talk with you guys about your ways of climbing as i have become quite out the loop working in a small gang for ages as the only experenced climber.
