  5. We hear this sort of post all the time. To get decent money in this game you have to graft. I've trialled loads of people for jobs and to be honest I wouldn't have them on work experience never mind pay them. What alot of people fail to realise is gaffers are not just after just standard workers. They want people that can think out of the box, take responsibility show initiative etc etc. tree work is alot more than just cutting trees.

  10. A direct copy of the predator apparently
  11. It's not just the forst chippers that have caused the problems. Redwood have manufactured their own grinder too which is apparently a direct copy. Legal teams have now got involved etc etc
  12. If I'm right in thinking AJ you live in chesterfield? If so all the tree work is carried out by a contractor. The company I work for in fact, any big jobs out of the contract are invited to tender for the work. You have to be on the preferred contractor list for this. Just getting on the list is a feat in itself. You're a one man band so in a nutshell you have no chance. Sorry to be blunt
  13. If you do get the job just think of all the free advertising you'll get! A nice sign written set up doing a professional job in front of hundreds of potential customers! Could be worth its weight in gold.
  14. Sounded ok apart from weight doubles every metre you fall lol
  15. The aeropress is as good as any fancy coffee machine! Make sure you watch the YouTube videos to get the best out of it though
  16. Tim peaks through my aeropress is my favourite! If any of you like coffee then an aeropress is a must!
  17. I'm sure you'll be fine most diseases don't live outside the body for long think hepatitis is 4 days max and hiv is a few hours. So I wouldn't worry mate

  20. Email silky themselves. They should sort you out
  21. Sorry I checked the manual online. We got 2 of the 160 quadchip they officially run at 2200 rpm but the gauge shows they run at 2140 and 2160 respectively
  22. I've just checked the manual and your right it says 1900 rpm.
  23. http://www.greenmech.co.uk/products/arborist-130/
  24. If you look at the machine specs it says rotor speed 1800 rpm. So if yours was running at 1900 it was probably set wrong n maybe reason it went bang in first place.
