  1. I think a 2nd hand husky 350 or 353 would be a good bet if the 346xp is out of range
  2. Yes you`re right i did ! I would sell it too if its worth selling if not i`ll just keep it.
  3. Hi , which native app do you mean ? do you mean the tree id app as i have a couple and they are good for the botanical names.
  4. Thankyou, I have the learning bug after just one day:biggrin:, I would have loved to be able to do a full time course but one day a week is all I can afford the time to do.
  5. Ha Ha sex swing that made me laugh ! ( i wish ) ! When you say has it taken a fall , do you mean with me in it ? or do you mean have i dropped it on a concrete floor ? either way its no to both. As for storage it has been kept in a holdall in the cupboard under my stairs along with the ironing board coats shoes and hoover , o and the wife when i put her away ! I probably will keep it as a spare but i already have a spare and this one hasn`t been used much. Also i did explain that the bridge was replaced due to the other bridge had the shrinkwrap which protects the sheath had come off, this probably didn`t need doing but done it anyway as the bridge was less than £20 and i like to keep my kit in tip top condition. I dont need to sell it i was merely asking whats it worth
  6. Hi all, What would you say my komet dragonfly is worth as i`d like to sell it and get myself a petzl . Its nearly two years old and has just had a brand new bridge fitted (old bridge sheath had the little plastic bits on ends come off),its in excellent condition and honestly hasn`t been used much. I could email pics if you give me your email add. Thanks for reading
  7. Hi all, Finally started my RFS certificate in arboriculture today after waiting nearly a year and a few years to being able to do it because of work and family commitments. Really enjoyed the first day and can`t wait till next week. Also just wanted to say thanks for having me on this great forum as its helped me alot with reading some of the threads and the pictures and especially the fungi directory. Thanks again
  8. Oh and 80k clutch replacement on a farm vehicle used for towing is bloody good I think you'll find
  9. If you use saws everyday surely you know what saw will be best for him
  10. I wouldn`t cross them of your list, i have one and love it and wouldn`t swap it for any other single cab pick up. yes they all have their faults and you have only asked about the faults with l200`s. now start another thread and ask about the faults with navara`s landys and hi-lux`s and i guarantee the list will be just as long if not longer.
  11. Excellent idea ! I want one , congrats i reckon they`ll sell quicker than you can build them.
  12. Nice find , I have seen him before doing similar with the nitro circus crew
  13. Best of luck to you mate, I had to go self employed(3 years now) after being made redundant twice in a year and with a big mortgage and a family to feed i had no other choice. still find it hard but its what i always wanted to do and my wife says i`m a far happier person than i was when i was employed (slave driven) doing a job i never enjoyed. It was the kick i certainly needed and without it i reckon i would still be there.
  14. No extended Shute like the new ones have by the looks of the pic
  15. Hi, I just bought one of the last ones (m300) from mike at Prochip and must admit that I absolutely love it and now couldn't live without it. Especially great for taking into the back garden and chipping into a wheelie bin then tipping that into the trailer, saves alot of brash dragging. New price they were £3495 plus vat , although I only paid £2950 inclusive as Prochip needed to sell them, they were advertised in the classifieds on here.
  16. Thankyou mate it is on your website that i have been looking at them and there are a couple things in the basket , just need to make my mind up on what poles i need
  17. Hi all, I was then about to order myself a big shot and poles and realised how many options of pole length there are so would like some of your opinions on what poles to buy. Would you have two 4ft poles or one 8ft pole or a 6ft and a 4ft ? Thanks
  18. hi,i would cut the old one off then a little tip to sliding the new one on is to use hairspray (same way as putting new bike grips on) as its slippery as hell when wet and then when it drys off it sticks like **** to a blanket. good luck:thumbup1:
  19. I recently bought a stein climbing jacket but afraid to say it isn't a patch on my old ex army issue re-fuelers gore tex jacket, never let water in and it's extremely light and does fit under harness
  20. Ah right so that explains why I can't get hold of mike to ask a couple questions regarding the last Jo beau m300 I bought off him a couple weeks ago. He said he wanted to sell them off cheap so he could purchase his next shipment of jo beaus.
  21. Hi all, finally managed to get the funds together and bought myself a jo beau m300 from mike at prochip and i must say what a top service he provided me with. Will always use prochip in the future for all my chipper needs. Also just been and bought myself a little superwinch from machine mart to mount to the headboard/ladder rack on my l200 pick up to help getting it in and out of the buck. Thanks for all the great things i have been reading about the wee chippers which convinced me to buy one.
  22. Had magnetics on the sides of my truck for just over a year and would just warn you that moisture always sits behind them and they caused little rust spots/bubbles in the paintwork.
