  1. Hi , me personally i like GT and CUBE (tried and tested) bikes and some good sites are chain reaction cycles and evans cycles. Hope this info is off use to you . Happy riding
  2. Hi, it was on queens road leading out of the city. Nobody hurt fortunately.
  3. Thanks for that, and yes it is a tipper (TT105). Really handy as farm where i get rid was only a mile away , hell of alot of weight in both loads though, then the following two days i was back there doing an even taller laurel but not as long and another conny hedge, another 3 loads from them aswell, was going to hire a chipper in but the weight still would have meant approx 5 loads in total so thought i would save some profit and mince and jump on it in trailer.
  4. Nice hedging work you done there, most of my work is hedging, reductions and trimming and sadly must admit that i love doing them. This is one that the client started last week and then as soon as he got his head inside he realised how much was involved so got me to do it, done it in 1 day with two huge trailer loads all minced up and jumped on ha ha
  5. These are the type of pics i`m looking for, Thanks again:001_smile:
  6. Thanks very much for that will have a look for it.
  7. Nice video , Does anyone know of any books or magazines that have old redwood felling pictures in them ? The ones with the fellers themselves in them standing by the trees, tried looking on the net but cant find much. Thanks
  8. Thanks to 32 gram size 5`s and a bit of phostoxin there aint too many round here
  9. And yes sorry this did occur when snow was on the ground.
  10. Hi mate, yes we have had some muntjac ( most of them been shot now , one of the best venisons in my book ) but it is definetly rabbit damage, i have seen them doing it and its clearly rabbits twin teeth marks. Its about 18 inches up the tree at its highest point.
  11. Ha no mate i aint that good I gassed them instead, bit cheaper and quicker but not as much fun !
  12. This post reminded me of rabbit damaged trees on a farm that i shoot on and the surrounding arable fields had just been rabbit fenced 8 weeks prior to these pics being taken, they couldn`t get to the crop anymore so thought they`d take their frustration out on these.
  13. Laptop on lap , carlsberg in hand dog at feet and channel 315. mrs asleep as usual !
  14. Thanks for that SWB, my local dealer looks to be prochip in suffolk, just accross the border lol. Loving this forum and learning lots from you guys. Keep up the good work mate.
  15. Would just like to say hi to everyone on this forum and i`m loving reading all your views and experiences ( they are priceless ). I have been getting kind of addicted to arbtalk and try and get on here as much as i can for a read ( and a laugh at all your banter ). I am really happy at what i have been reading about `wee chippers`, as i have been considering buying one for a while as i run a pick up and an ifor tipper trailer and putting one of these in it would be the perfect way for me to go seeing as i dont have a chipper at the mo or a truck to chip into . I am liking the look of the jo beau`s . I value all your opinions and thanks for having me on this forum.

  20. Suzuki kingquad 700 auto. Awesome piece of kit, i have used the yamaha big bears and the kodiaks and the suzuki knocks spots off em all
  21. Hi , we have new suzuki kingquad 700 auto on the farm and i use it all the time when working in the woods, carry all my gear on it (bungee my saws and cans down) and it`ll go anywhere. we did have an ATV LOGIC trailer for it which you can tow with quad on it then take quad off and hitch it up to the quad, they only have 350kg axles on but we just bought some 750kg ones from autow.co.uk and bolted them on and i used to stack it with timber in the woods and never got stuck. we have always had quads on the farm and couldn`t be without them, great fun in two wheel drive in the wet too (drifting everywhere). Love this forum and thanks for making me welcome.
  22. it all depends on the weld prep and quality of equipment and the welder himself, a descent weld should be as strong if not stronger than the material thats being welded yes but alot depends on consumables being used (preferably not cheap ones from machine m***) however after a weld has been put in , it is then the HAZ (heat affected zone , area around the weld) that is then the weakest part.
